Well I hope everybody got back home safe? I would guess we had 20-25 cars there from the club show up. Pretty impressive considering distance and wheather. I got there @ 2030 did not seem to be as wild as normal it picked up later a couple guys were trying to tune there turbo on the 4 lane adjacent BP. He was speeding my guess is 150KPH in a 70 and the Polezei was coming out of the BP!!! Brake lights came on and everbody held there breath I guess the were being nice because no blue lights came on. I walked around prolly 250 cars or so. BS'ed got coffee and started the Hawk once. Finally John,JR &Jeff got there around 2300 or so there was a itch to go to the Norris ring so we made the plan/ showed off a little leaving BP and once again when we arrived @ the Norris Ring. We definately had there attention my guess is 300-400 cars at this point. Well John did not just bring the Toy he brought just enough rain to make it slippery. However there was a couple heads up confrontations right in front of the Polezei and they did go after a couple speed Violators that were in need of a sanity check after our parade got rained on and the streets were wet it started thinning out we then whent to McDonalds and BSed about Bitburg and some other stuff. Then we departed our seperate ways at about 0145. All in all I had a great time maybe next time we can do it on a three day weekend and cruise some towns in Germany. It was nice seeing you guys again and till next time stay safe.

Yeah blaim John for the rain...
we got back to Kaiserslautern about almost 0800 am, was a rainy ride back, and of course searching for an Esso station to gas up on the way. Jr and John went on strike, they needed a nap, while Jeff kept on driving/not too far away from home anymore.
From Kaiserslautern it took Jr another hour to go up to Bitburg, for me only a half hour to Pirmasens.
Of course I dropped into my bed for a few hours, much more comfortable to sleep in than the backseat...

Yup, I had a blast. I have not been able to catch up with alot of you and make some of the meets but last night was fun. I wish I could have stayed longer, but I had to take Jr. to a t-ball game this morning. I hope we can all get together again. There is a nice little lake down here in Ansbach that is right down the street from the post, if ya want to do the three day thing(sun and BBQ) and we could all crash at my pad. I am in the middle of Wurzberg and Nurnberg.

But anyways, I had a good time and I am ready for the next one, Hopefully it will be dry out this time.

How the hell do I add A pick here???

Hey Bruce, Ya sure do got that sixer tuned pretty good....

Well I had a blast even though it was quite a far drive... to bad it had to rain though! The ride back was quite uneventful until I started to get sleepy... it was nap time then! Outside of K-Town we ran into a fast moving 99 or newer Z28 have no clue where he went to though... driving a little to fast in the rain for me! But all in all it was really fun! But I have to agree with John the next time I come out there it will be for the weekend instead of just a drive up and back! Later!

Made it home safely and got up waaaaayyy too early to head up to Holland Saturday morning. It was nice taking the new Z out on the 'bahn for the first time. And many thanks to my husband for not yelling "We're gonna DIE!!!" the whole trip to Nurnberg and back.

PT :)

Hey Hawk, what kind of help do you need? We're always willing to try...

And, if it would be easier for any of you to make a pit-stop between home and Nurnberg, let us know. Casa Tedrow is always open--we have a guestroom, couch, air mattress, you name it. Oh, and a 10-cup coffee pot. Seriously, if you don't want to be on the road 24 hours, give us a holler.

PT
