You guessed it!
1st impressions: Lope? What lope? The car sounds like stock except 20 times louder! The lope is there but faint not like the 1st time I heard it and it Freakin rattles the car like a cheap motel vibrator bed for 25 cents. Idle is at 900 and we dropped it just to see what happens. It adjusted for it. We then disconnected 4 inj and it still ran! The thing want's to come alive! Ran like crap but I've never seen 4 and still run...3 and like crap but 4?
It ran like crap too but I was still amazed by it.

Clutch? Graps like a MOFO and feels like stock. Grabs midway too and is perfect. Need to run the rpms up to about 1200 to take off. BUT won't engage reverse at all unless the engine is off. WTF?! Researching that now.

Flow? It is massive. Out the exhaust 4 ft away from it there is enough force to move a coffee cup FULL! And this is at idle! I am not lieing to you. I thought Hank was BS'n me at 1st but it is serious. The thing is a BANSHEE! And this was w/ the exhaust fully opened and the Y-pipe crushed beyond recognition.

Hank drove at 1st and scared the snot out of me. Lets just say we can get 70-80 in 1st gear alone! I mean it screams!
Timing is way off though 26 degrees adv in idle and really bad in the 4k+ range. The car vibrates like it wants to shake your teeth outta ya mouth. But it feels good to the backbone though. :) I know we weren't supposed to take it that high but we couldn't help it.

Traction? HOUSTON WE HAVE A HUGE F*&^ PROBLEM! It's unreal....right now it will spin all the way through 4th. It doesn't like being under load but the car was tryin to relearn....This car will do low 11's no doubt. We almost ran off the road because the car slide through the corners so fast it was a little unexpected as to the speeds we were approaching. It took no time to reach 120 and I don't think we were outta 3 gear yet. AMAZING Just imagine what it'll do when the timing is correct........

Problems? The reverse naturally, the BLM's are low and the right bank doesn't respond until we gun it and then it still drops to 0 after a min or so. Rich is still the case BUT it's not dumping raw fuel out the back and the cat is still go. SO if anyone wants a HIGH flow cat I've got an extra one new. 90 bucks and it's yours!
22's are in the car and I'm wondering to put the 30's back in and have the programmer sort it out. That's correct fella's we HAVE A PROGRAMMER HERE FOR ALL OF US! He's in Mannheim and I'll be the 1st subject out of to go Wed. I'll let you know. So Mike, Willis, Kenny, and whoever else let me know and I'll get you set up. LS1's too. But I think Roy has that cover w/ his laptop.

We gonna do as much as we can w/ the timing and then it goes to the programmer. Oh and it eats gas. But we bandaided that too. Tank was full and had the car running at idle for 20mns and the tank was damn near empty!

Hope to have it by Wed or sooner if we can get reversed fixed!

I'm really happy for ya John...its about time to unleash the beast. With a good custom program you should be public enemy #1 very shortly.
I would second the 30#ers though, or at least SVO/Bosch 24#, even if your stockers can take the new pressure and supply the right fuel the bigger ones should cut the pulse time down. I would think anything you can do to help the limp wristed octane grade of gas available to you with a 12.1+ motor would be worthwhile.
I cant wait until you have some vid/sound files to share.

and wipe that smirk off your face!!! :)

Rob

Hey John I know you have to be one happy person. You should win the Fbody's most patient catagory. I'm looking forward to seeing this fine piece of american machinery tommorow. So that way I can go home and start my car and just listen to it NOT move it JUST listen to it and hope the clutch doesn't grab and launch me into the side of my house. LOL

Right now the clutch is on hold. I had a lot of stuff come up this month so I'm going to wait to do it. If the Service fedral credit union fixes my account I can order it really soon. But we all know how banks are. They managed to misplace five months of rent plus our deposit grand total of over 13k's. So right now where waiting for them to find were they sent it. We have reciepts so one way or the other we should get it back. Those Bastards.
