You know it, the one and only Evan Smith, and it was at the same track that he got the Z to a 12.89. Personally I wouldnt worry about to many people changing pullies on a Cobra to push up boost, cuz at 35k+ it wont exactly be the car of choice for to many speed demons. Now the Mach on the other hand is scary. It has the Cobra motar w/o blower, but without the independant rear. That thing could be made dangerously quick fairly easy. Another thing coming down the pike is a tribute to the Boss. It will be another limited car and looks to weigh in at around 350hp.
Not much going on with me. Been thinking about donating the Z to the Navy to use as an anchor. I'm pretty sure the rings are on gone on a couple cylinders (not the cars fault mine, but damn can these things ever have a period of running with NO problems?) It feels strong, and runs decent, but I just dont like the smoke. Looks exactly like that video of bruces car.
Been spending alot of time on the 5.0 however. Slowly turning it into a track only car. A buddy come over for a all day thrash, changed clutch/flywheel/Ds,pullies,headers and X pipe. Took about as long as changing the spark plugs on the 'maro...heh. Supposed to rain Fri, but if it doesnt then I'll go see what she runs now after all that and the intake,TB,and Nittos since it went 9.6 like I got it on street tires. Its gonna be depressing, cuz I'm pretty sure it will run 9.0 or better now, and that is only .4(or less) off the Z for about 1/10 the cost
