might it have something to do with the 6000 hp your puttin to them (LOL). How many miles do have on them? I've got 12,300 on my Eagle F-1s but unless I'm at the track I keep my TCS on. The auto-x and the ring didn't really hurt at all, of course this weekend might be a different story.

Tire life is directly linked with humanity. If you do everyhting easy ; step on the gas easy , turn the wheel easy , step on the brake easy. You know all that color in side the lines , the lines are your friend crap.
Well guess what I'm a hard head.

I have about 4000 miles on them @ $260 a pop I really do not want to ask my wife for 2 sets of tires in one summer. That would not go over very good.

Hawk,
I've got a set of 50,000 mile tread life tires on my 73 Firechicken and for some reason they only lasted 4000 miles, I know it wasn't the driver's fault I blame it on the 550hp 462ci, th400 w/3500stall. I think that might be your problem too(LOL)!!!!

Tirelife... for some reason since 15 years I keep replacing my left rear tire, worn out all the time on the outside.
Now somebody at a shop told me that's because of excessively going into the right turns (Autobahns only have right turns/btw: 240km-highspeed tires)
I tried to go a little slower there now, just to save a little more on that one tires life, and it worked.

Maybe you just should avoid burnouts on all the traffic lights going through town. ;)

And the lesson here is, maybe money doesn't buy you tire life?

Paula :)
