Allright, I just need to vent a so I´m letting you guys know about what happend to me this night.
As usaual we were at the BP station tonight untill all of a sudden die polizei closed down the place…. anyways I felt comfortable since I have nothing illegal on my car and I also just past TUV inspections this week !!!!
Too make a long story a little shorter……….. they checked me and fixed me down cause they claim my tires are scraping just a little in the wheel housing ….John has the same thing with his wheels, but they couldn´t do "He said POOP" to him because he has us plates…. They even had johnny passed who doesn´t even have TUV on his car and has a exhaust that is loud as hell !… they took my registration on the spot ! the car is under their custedy right now……. on Monday a senior inspector will certify this "He said POOP" and thereby my plates will be gone for good !!! I will not even be allowed to take my car home to my place (which is like only 5 KM!!) unless I put it on a tow truck and have it taken there !
This is so crazy and I´m mad like hell at the moment, I don´t have the slightest idea what to do now, but I´ll guess that´s they way the story ends !! Seems like the IROC has its execution set for Monday…….. this makes me wanna cry and just go mad at the same time ……..!!

Feel for ya man.
Wrong place at the wrong time with the long arm of the law.
Was that particular set of tire size and rims on your registration?

my tires are just the stock tires with stock rims, and everything is registrated in germany for 14 years ! When I told them that these tires are factory spec and the TUV said they are problem all I got for a reply was "well we´re not the TUV, we can do what we want!! " this is so fucking rude
.... anyways, I checked my TUV report again and saw that the chief inspector guy who is coming on moday is from the SAME place where i got my TUV done just days ago !... just grabbed the phone and told them my story, they couldn´t belive that the cops where really doing that ! Anyways, that guy on the phone told me that he will tell the chief guy about this matter.... so for now I can´t do anything but wait until monday... damn, time passes so slowly sometimes

Well that is an open and shut case . You will win in the end . I thin the police are just trying to break things at that Bp station and what better way than to lean on a few people. That would discourage me from going there.

Sorry to hear that IROC.
Hope for you to get your car back.
If they do have a problem, they should give you a chance to fix it, especially with new TÜV.

Sorry to hear about your car. I hope everything works out for you on Monday. I don't understand how they would just keep your car though. I would think if there was a problem with the TUV thingie, then you would just get a big fine and have to reregister your car. Well good luck.

At the moment I´m just going through the StVOZO to get prepared for tomorrow

Hey ! no I´m not in jail, just had a hard time to do a post here.... I´m really glad that everything worked out for me yesterday... I was probably the only car out of 8 cars that actually passed their "gestapo" test... there were two cars tested before me and both got their plates taken away ! they have to pay a 200 € fine, the TUV inspector, some charges the cops want and have to do changes to their car........ well the tuv was kinda nice to my car, maybe cause I was at his place only a few days before, he also knew that my tires were stock and so he just said that my car is okay and causes NO danger to the traffic as I was accused of by the ´lil green men ... the faces of the polizie guys were just great, they never though I´d get passed, so they looked kinda pissed... I´m also glad Salverson went there too, so they also could check out his car to verify that these cars come that way from factory... I´m really happy that everything went that well ! I´ll be a little more carefull the next weeks with going to the BP cause maybe the polizei I pissed off are outta get me for anything they can
BTW: as far as the polizi told me they also did a raid at noris friday, they had like 30 cars impounded !!! 7 or 8 were suposed to be american cars (mostly from katterbach)... 1 black camaro, 1 blue firebird LS1 style..... anyone know something about this ??????

Wow, great, you got our baby back. I hadn't heard of any Americans getting their cars impounded by the Politzei. Maybe they knew you would tell your American friends what they told you, to try and keep the #'s down.

Glad to hear ... I guess you could even sue them for harrassment and damages due to not having your street-legal car for the weekend ...

yes Garry your right, I could sue them and I would have every right to do it... I actually planed to but then I think this would end in a big pi ssing contest and I really don´t want to make things worse... I´m just mad that I couldn´t take my car to the vilsek car show, I was so excited about it
Rob, yea you could be right with that, but also one of the guys who´s car got impounded told me about the noris raid, so there might be more to it

Well I hope no one got their cars impounded. I can understand if someone was acting the fool or something. Enforcing laws are one thing, but taking someone's car for harrassment is uncalled for.

yea, this was really harrassment to it´s fullest !...... the polizei really do need to chill and should rather go after some crazy racers almost running over people rather then going after people with american cars..... hey I know what you mean, they would have a feast with your car LOL
