Not quite sure about that one... it was my first meet after I joined last year, and I always thought that it was something that ChevyThunder planned. CT? Got any input? The wife 'PT_Cruisin' said she will call the AST tomorrow and see if there is anything planned. I sure do hope there is one. I live 15km away.

I think that Leighton did cancel the Volksfest, cuz of 'Force Protection'. But I think that a car show wouldn't draw as big as crowd. But it don't hurt to ask. I will see if I can hunt down Robin on post this week, if he don't get on the board soon and check this post.

Sorry to dissapoint you, but it ain't happening this year. Mainly due to the higher security levels. I'm glad it left good memories, I even get calls from a lot of the Germans that were there asking me about this year.
Also, my job situation has been so uncertain this year, that I really couldn't make any commitments or do any kind of planning. Hopefully everything calmes down by next year.

Does save me the embarrassing feeling of looking down a M16 barrel, though. Have to consider bulletfrof glass as an option on the next car. Yep, the security on posts seems tight. Understandable though.

Hey, Phoenix95 came by the house today and said something about there being a carshow in Wurzberg (on post!) today. He heard this from on of the guys in our unit, that said that he was handing out flyers. I just think that he didn't want 30 F-bodies there taking all the prizes. More to follow...
