Well the little get together with the members from the Nurnberg-Vilseck area started out not too good at bonnie's. Due circumstances out of our control we were not able to make it to Dave's Rib House for the All you can eat special.:-dunno: A lot of traffic followed by a lot of rain for a bit did not look too promising for the turn out. In attendance John S, IROC, Kenni, Itchy and myself plus some other american cars which found themselves at the restaurant. After wiping down most of the cars after the rain we continued to hang out and ate some German style Hamburgers, while we were there the weather improved and ran into a german camaro club which kenni arranged to meet there. some 2nd and 3rd generations which looked fantastic( I wouldn't mind trading mine for the purple 1978 one :) ) Their club definitely has an interest of joining us for the 4th of july weekend. After signing out from there we decided to head to Nurnberg for a little cruise that kenni led.
We definitely got a lot of attention from the locals as kennie's ride went by ( GO BORLA ) All in all had a great time and look forward to meeting all the members for the 4th of July. Next time I would like to have a better turn out for the Trans Am line as I was the only Trans am there.

You guys ate those soy-bergers... I thought you said they were crappy. Well what ever came of the discussion on the cruise? Did anything get worked out?

You are right the soy burgers are still bad but we wanted to double check on it I guess:-dunno:
Yes some things got worked out, we are meeting at bonnie's on the 4th of July early in the morning work our way down to Munich not sure of the route you have to ask Kenni about the specific route when we make it down there we will spend the day sight seeing, cruising and eating at some good places, etc. As of right now most of us are opting to stay somewhere on the outskirts of Munich overnight but I am sure that the exact location will get worked out later specially depending on the number of people which will be with us. In the morning of the 5th we will head to Chiamse( I probably misspelled it )and meet with the rest of the members from other areas. I am sure that we will meet again next week hopefully at Dave's rib House ;) for some good chow.

Please try to either get signups on the other thread, or have people contact me so we can reserve the camp ground space... would be great to have even more to join our cruise ... still remember this pic from the States? Want to beat their number ... :)

I know that you have a deadline Garry (monday) for the campground, Kenni are you able to get some numbers from the German Camaro club. They don't have to come with us Thrusday morning since its not a german holiday but perhaps friday night or even Saturday Morning.
I would love to have more cars than the picture above. By the way Garry what is the plan for Friday? what time are we meeting up?

Hawk that's what I thought but since only 5 cars signed up for the event as of last night I was not too sure. Are you leaving on the 4th or meeting down there on the 5th?

Leaving from Bonnie's due to it's central location in the morning of the 4th. As far as I know so far IROC, Kenni, John S, Itchy(not sure), and myself. Some others are interested but have not heard anything solid yet. Rampage is doing a little homework on Lodging in Munich for us.

At the moment, only 5 people said they were coming on the other thread: Hawk, SS396, Shitkicker, Gil, and me ...
Did I mention we need to make sure we have reserved space? We're getting into the leave season, and hopefully nice warm weather, so people will be out camping ...

for helping us out trying to get some solid numbers for the campground. If you can't make it on the 4th I understand you could also meet us on the 5th if you can make then. Let us know when the 90% becomes 100%:-ok:

So the whole crowd is bound for Munich.

Ok, i´ll be happy to do the guide.

Regarding lodging, just tell me how many people and when.

As the 3rd of July is my birthday i´ll try to take the 4th off, so i´m free to tour you around munich.

I need some definitive briefing on the number of people coming.

Best would be:

Exact number of single roms and double rooms.

When do you plan to arrive (midday or evening)

Should it be in central Munich or the suburbs.

I still think it would be best to meet somewhere (eg. friday evening or have a phone conference)

Otherwise i can offer my garage ;-)
