Pretty sure most of ya are saying M3 of course. To make a long story short car trouble as always. Not the Toy which is surprising...LOL But the wifes car has died Mazda Protege (tried and true) and the new beater in which we dumped 1600 bucksto buy last yr has crapped out on us as well.

Seems either the coil, fuel pump or fuel filter for the beater and for the Mazda we don't know it just drains power and we just put the new alt in last month! I'm injured so I don't have time to play w/ either. All cars are paid for so that's a plus.

I'm trying to get her to buy new but she don't want payments which is doable but crazy IMO. That's the house money for when we retire. She wants used (I thought we learned from this episode) I want new w/ WARRANTY. SO I'm trying to coax her to by her own car cheap if she wants as long as new. I'm the one w/ expensive tastes ala M3. The A4 we'd buy together but that would still leave us w/ a car that don't work either the beater or the Mazda unless we trade them both in for the A4 THEN Part the Toy out for the M3. Don't want to do that at all but will if need be. She don't drive stick either so that hurts us well me anyways.

So the Toy may be up for grabs or parted out. I'llknow for sure after today. Goes to to get repainted at the end of the week too hopefully. Down to 1 car MY car!

John If you sell the toy! I want you to come by my house so I can give you the smack of a life time j/k :) I would say for here in germany I would just buy somthing good and reliable. As we all know a car takes on quit the punishment driving on these roads. I wish you luck though it seems to be a trend with cars. I was in the same boat about a month ago. I feel your pain. :(

Yeah I think you passed on the curse to us! LOL j/k.
Reliable seems harder these days even w/ a car we didn't push hard at all. When the Mazda goes down I know I'm in trouble. Going to go test drive some now in a few. I ain't lettin the Toy go. I'll drive it to the ground 1st before that.

Unless.....I get a decent offer of course. NOT! I'm not done playing w/ it yet.

Keep the Toy and get the Audi as a daily driver. The M3 is just another Toy. Get the quattro if you're gonna be going anywhere where it snows...The M3 will be just about as good in the snow as the Camaro. You'll never get all your money back if you sell the Camaro. My .02

Topic is near and dear to my heart...

These two cars are not comparable to one another. The M3 is leaps and bounds ahead of the A4 with the 1.8T. What you should compare is M3 vs S4. The A4 can easily see 300-350 hp with few g's of mods. The M3 already has 333hp stock and normally aspirated. The m3 also handles MUCH better. Might not be evident by looking at skip pad results but the M3 inspires unbelieveable amounts of confidence. Drove an S4 just before I came back to tha states. I can say I like the S4 but still thought my old M3 woulda whooped it in a slalom. The S4 can see upwards of 450 hp for a few g's as well. S4 is more expensive to mod but gains are much greater obviously.

How bout a 540i with a stick??? Or a new Cobra (god forbid)

So many choices, not enough money......

Well we bought the A4 not the quattro because they didn't have one in stock. We had to get a car that was a auto she don't drive stick. SO we took what was in the inventory vs waiting 16wks for our choice of options on a new audi.
BLK fully decked minus heated seats and sunroof will be in our hands next wk. Go to Bremehaven to pick up Mon or Tues.

M3 isn't still out of the question either. The Toy will still be around.. the audi is hers.

Big money grip Silas!!! "I was gonna get the turbo". Good lord. Congrats dude, that should be a fun car to drive. I have decent news as well. I am about 85% sure I am getting my uncle's 85 vette off of him. So I can finally lay the beast to rest and keep in the garage! Only problem, I have another project car on my hands. Ha ha, I can't wait. Here we go again....Going to be broke as a joke. Two sweet rides though, not bad for a punk ass 23yr old.

Have you had it to the track yet? I am going for high 10's this year. Got the beast dialed in low 11's easy now.

If so only the 8th, and I have about a million excuses for the times I ran so don't even ask:) I am going to take it to ATL to get it dialed in right. Then I will post some uglyness. Nothing near low 11's though...
I have not even touched the block yet.:(
