Hi, first off all: I like your Forum very much - It is pretty cool. You Guys just drive the wrong car
but you can help me, since fpcon bravo nobody can stick an flyer under an u.s. stang parked in an army installation:
anyone of you knows a few people with stangs stationed here in germany? We have - in the frankfurt area - an US/German Mustang Club, the Wildponies of Hanau and we like to etablish a monthly local hangout here in the stutgart area, maybe later an mustang club.

cyberstallion,
I've only heard of the club out of Hanau. You should gather the ponies and bring them up to Bitburg at the end of the month, there'll be plenty of F-Bodies there, it'll make for some good safe legal racing. Sorry I couldn't help with the club stuff.

Plus most likely there will be a couple (or more) 'stangs there, too ...
Oops, date collision detected ... seems like the Hanau Ponies have a meeting on the 28th ...

The 28th is a Sunday but the 27th is a Saturday and we are still racing unless somebody changed it. Folks are going to be going and coming back on the 27th (unfortunately...me). It would be nice to see all types of cars there.
Garry, Just trying to push the event, not trying to come off the wrong way.

for shure I drive to bitburg. want to check the et without NOS and then come back with the juice I think traction will be my worst problem... I see you have races in august and september, veeery cool...
ok, I have featured the race on my site http://www.fiveliter.de but the response as i talk with a few german stanger is not overwhelming... the guys from hanau would like to come but by their meeting at the same time they are a little bit out of time...
pushing the event is a good idea but i think most discussion about osl are here, and not in the osl-board were it belongs, so if you want all types of cars you should not post in the f-body forum... I can post a few threads in different german car forums, if you like? I think OSL is a big deal in the armed forces scene but very few germans have heard of it?
ok, have a nice dax, markus
btw: the picture on top was taken by me @ schwabach near nurnberg, it is not a club - it was a little hangout, but I noticed that Brand X car over there. but anyhow, thank you!

Hey IROC... how long you been going to that Bonnie's 'death-burger' Diner? You are another one that needs to know when to quit. Did I mention the pizza? Gil you out there?

Cyberstallion,
Thanks for posting the info in other forums, I understand what you are saying about OSL needing to be in the OSL forum. I was just trying to pass info to others in case they haven't heard of the OSL 27-28 event.

Yes it would be really fun to have all kinds
of cars racing at the next OSL in Bitburg,
like in Drachten. I mean, the hole town and
everybody came, either to race or to
spectate. And everybody brought lots of
friends and familiy members to spectate. In
the past our OSL just seemed to be a fbody
meet with two stangs, three honda (and my
corolla).
If we have many people coming and racing, we
could start breaking into groups (index) or
having special races and more trophies. Why
you all don't invite all those street racers
in Darmstadt and Nürnberg to come (pay!!!)
and get their timeslips. If the OSL gets
bigger, we make some money and can make it
more professional and then I can try to get
us a permanent track, without the
limitations of Bitburg.

You are right, we need to post OSL related stuff at the OSL board...
