I turned in my Z around the middle of April. The engine was tapping, so I wanted to get it checked out. I still have 5000 miles on the warranty.

I went on a mission to Romania at the beginning of May. I knew I would be gone for approximately 1 month. I figured for sure the Z would be ready by the time I got back. Well, I got back, and it was not ready yet. They(Opel) said they were still waiting on parts. After 2 weeks, I called back, and got the same story. Now, it's been 2 weeks since I called last, and I'm afraid to hear that again. Apparently the part(s) is/are on back order. I guess I'll call at the end of the week.

I just don't want the whole Summer to go by without me being able to drive it. :(

Thanks for your time.

These feckin Opel/Vauxhall dealers sell these cars and ain't got a damn clue when they go wrong and they'd rather work on churning out their poxy little Astras and get money for old rope. No wonder Chevy pulled out of the UK. Did they pull out of Europe too?

I waited six days for a new tranny on warranty so it can´t be that bad everywhere.

Where are you based - perhaps you could check the bigger Opel dealers?
