Wanted to share some pics from local drag race, which took place yesterday on one former military airfield here. In addition to local cars, there were some really fast cars from Finland.

And I thought the Sembach track was bad ... was the track up there as bad as the pictures suggest??? Can't imagine running 200km/h on a cement track like that ...
But then, anything is better than nothing ... ;)

I had problems with the clutch, so no decent times. Faster cars did run high 10's, as this track is quite slippery and it was hot (30C) and humid. This strip is 3 km long and bikes have run close to 300 kmh top speeds there, so its not that bumpy.

BTW. Orange TT Hornet on those pictures has run 9,1/245 kmh and is street registered in Finland.

If it was slippery, high 10s is a pretty good time, unless you're talking top fuel dragsters. :)
