It was a nice day at the local 1.5mile track.

I was forced to share a garage with a bunch of other ricers. Man whats up with all them stickers. Geez some people.

Even after suffering thru the disapointment of not seeing one "true" import, I still was able to enjoy myself. (Hey, atleast I walked away under my own power!)

I will leave you with a vid of drafting/traffic lessons. Quality isnt that high, but the sound more than makes up for it.

Dont know what ran, but it was atleast 160mph average in the 1.5mile. Yes, I now can say what it feels like to have 650+hp running me down the track. In a word, AMAZING!!!

Its at Texas Speedway, thru a company called Team Texas. I'll tell ya straight, it is far from cheap, but it is a life experiance that you wont forget anytime soon.
I've seen similar programs at all the major speedways, Atlanta, Daytona, Homestead etc....

You'd love it John, they give you a in car video so you can see how you really did, then you can also run 4 laps WOT in the passenger seat with a "good" driver. Anybody that doesnt have respect for Winston Cup guys need to do this just to see the violence these guys put up with for 3 hours.

Looked like fun. I bet you wish you had one of those on the autobahn here! You had a big smile on your face!
