Thank you all for the birthday wishes. Yes Paula did fund the purchase of those stripes for the car... I don't think they will make it go faster, but it will turn some heads.
It is true I have made it to the big 30. Now, that I have made it over the hill, I will be counting down. I feel very old and will be feeding the worms in no time now.
Rod, the wife has planned a wonderful weekend for the two of us in Rotterdam. I hope to be stopping by Bitberg on the way back, if there is still some racing going on. I'll give ya a halla if we are caoming by at a decent hour.

Ryan, if he had gone to work on his birthday please don't hesitate to think I would have sent a singing telegram. One year I got the entire bowling alley to sing to him, and we don't even bowl! That takes talent! No, instead I was talking to his one and only soldier and told him that if they were going to do anything, it should be Wednesday since he'd gotten Thursday off. So the guy sends this email out to all Brigade users (oh geez, this is going on his next counseling, for sure!) to make sure they stop by and wish SGT Tedrow a happy birthday--and my husband comes home and says, "WHAT DID YOU DO???" Hee hee, they really got him Weds. morning though, when they sang Happy Birthday to him at the pt formation and gave him an Over The Hill balloon. Poor guy. 30 must be a real b!#$@.
I'm so glad my birthday was last week so I couldn't give him any ideas!
