...or, what we did on Sunday. Rob and I had the good fortune of attending a barbecue at the home of our very own Hawk and his wife Ingrid, along with Rampage and his girl, Chris(who flew by us on the 'bahn)V6 and his buddy Mark(?), Grillmaster Gil, Mike (Hey BlackaSS!), WrongWayJohn Salverson and his wife, Sven, and Rich (SS396) and his daughter. Wow, what an awesome time! I propose that we make this a recurring event (and chalk it up to Club Events & Happenings). I realize that Vilseck isn't the most convenient location, so I'm volunteering our own home here outside of Giebelstadt. I figure, 3 hours up from Munich, 2 hours over from Vilseck, and 3-4 from that wild and crazy Spang/KTown bunch. What do you guys say? I'm being selfish, of course...it's nice not to have to drive too far after drinking as much as I plan to...but hey, we have a ton of room and space outside (a.k.a. bring tents) if you all want to be selfish too. There's still plenty of grilling season left, so we don't have to set anything in stone right now. Just tossing out the idea!

Paula :)

Sorry hun, but I have to stick up for Hawk on the nylon's thing... he said that he was naked when he was trying to get the dog into his sleeping bag, not wearing nylons.

But thank you and Ingrid for the hospitality, and thanks to everyone for the great time. Sorry we had to leave early, I wish we could have stayed, but we had to get home to our little girl.

Love to have ya'll over here also. But then I would have to clean the house. And bring Prince, I can hook him up.

Rob

Yes it was a good time. Rampage had a bottle of Jalapeno Pepper Liquor or something like that. Everyone did try it and I guess everyone was feeling it later that night.

A big "thank you" to Ingrid, Bruce and all others - this was really a great barbecue :D
This conversation about Prince, Bruce naked or washing his car in nylons, 'Y' etc. was really unbelievable *g*
I´m looking forward to the next meeting!
(Giebelstadt would be OK, same distance as Vilseck)

So Chris, you flew by us because my Z is 'damn slow', but you sat there at the gate for how long? And when I rolled down my window and asked if I could sign you in, what did you think, that I wanted to take you home with me? Grrrr...
We laughed all the way to Hawk's house when we realized you had no idea who we were!

"official sponsor of the german gas industry?" Man that fire pepper liquor or what ever you call it- that liquor picked me up and drop kicked me to the curb.

next time I will have to sleep over (so I can have more)

that get together at hawk's place was pretty cool. I got to see some more faces behind the names on f-body website.

good suggestion, pt cruisin'. I'm for it too. Even if something comes up and I might not be able to make it.

we all had a good time. It was very nice meeting you all.

...that wild and crazy Spang/KTown bunch....???

Seems that you have the best meets over there. Do not hear and see nothing wild around here - but usually I am too busy anyhow.

Actually we are on the other side of the country closer to N/burg in a place called Vilseck.

Rich, I like the way you think! Of course, now that means I have to get off my lazy a$$ and clean my house. Gee, thanks.

Hey squirrelina! Vilseck is located between the city of Nurnberg and the Czechoslavakian Border, just north of A6/Amberg right off of B299.(towards Grafenwoehr). It is pretty quiet up here but lots of fast roads with little traffic.

Well, I know where Vilseck is at... believe it or not, but I do live a few years in Germany.
Ok, I live in the Wild Wild (South)West of Germany. Once I even been at the Nürnberg BP Friday night, where I met very nice people.
But it is just a little bit too far away from the French Border to drive over to Vilseck just for a picnic.
My home is located between Pirmasens and Zweibrücken, south of Landstuhl (nearby Kaiserslautern) Autobahncross A6/A62 living right on A62/B10 (got my Runway behind my house).

So whenever you have another party and I can stay over night and get notice in time I will be over there... ;)
