Directions:
Follow A9 (from Nuremberg) / A8 (from Stuttgart) till Munich.
Cross to A99 (Munich Circle) and follow signs for "MESSE" till you hit A94 get off at the exit MESSE, there is two of those, normally there are electronic signs stating where which event is held. If not, just follow the cars.
If you get lost, call 0163/6777770

Lodging:
I have a very good contact with a nice and comf hotel in the dead center of the city. Kenny stayed there already and he was very pleased.
I managed to get the following rates:
Single room: € 65,00
Double room: € 80,00
It is a very clean and nice place, if somebody prefers a more economic lodging, call me and i´ll try to get something.

There is afaik no possibilty on the fairground. Can patch you up for some campground nearby. Will find out.

Camping & BBQ: Possible, but not allowed by Munich City district. You can do it and people already did it last year, but at your own risk. Sleeping in the car no problem.
It´s all shine and show and trophies, so they like it clean.
