Guess so ... nice weather, almost to warm ... the two spill cleanup breaks sucked big time, worse delays than @ OSL meetings

Novarat was there, too. Thanks for the free beer man!
Car ran good, but we only managed to get a 14.79 due to the fact that it was the first time Glen ever drove my car. So he made a couple of driving errors. He's sure the car is capable of a 13 time, but we only got two tries. Then again, the car is not even built to run the 1/4, so it's a decent time, I guess.
We had a great time though, I wish more members had showed up. The car sure got a lot of attention in the pits!

CT,thanks for stickin' up for me. Garry was just tryin' to diss me cause he knows I don't own an F-body .
Your car did receive a lot of attention and those wheels stopped everyone (including me) in their tracks. I'm sure with tuning and practice you can get your car in the 13's. Bring it to Bitburg and we'll see what we can do. Do you have metering rods and other necessary items for tuning your Edelbrock carb? It's also a good idea to have a notebook so you can record changes you make, along with times, track conditions, temp, tire pressure, launch RPM, shift RPM, etc...
You're welcome on the beer. I'll bring some to Bitburg and we'll sit around and stare at those wheels of yours. Think they'll fit under my Nova?

yo there was even a few more known people, not all fbody members/owners though.
But Cary and the Netherland bunch (some know them from OSL)
and also Bunt (was the last two times in Bitburg with the blue Monza), Chevythunder and the Glen Trouble Gang, Cecilia, Novarat - thanks for the free meals for Kamilla and myself - and Garry, our number one Starreporter and also my coworker Don (in Bitburg every time) and Rick (Starter in Bitburg) with his daughter, and another few I knew but can not remember the names.
... and almost forgot that fast yellow beetle.

Well, I fly out on the 31st for a six month+ TDY assignment. But there's always next year...
I'd love to set up a car besides my Camaro for Drag Racing, because I really don't think there's a "best of both worlds" solution. You always reach a point where it's either be fast at the track or have a streetable car. Those 3.73 rearend gears already proved that point to me, even though they're really not considered radical.

CT,
My plan is to save up and purchase a Gear Vendors overdrive unit. They're supposed to be good through 1000HP and I can get my 70mph RPMs down to 2500. I'm keepin' the 4-speed and it can become an 8-speed with the Gear Vendors unit. Now I just need to figure out how to get them to sponsor me??? Have fun on your trip and keep in touch.
