even though I didn't check the site, what do you think a skyline and a 300zx have in common?!?!...uhhhhh...skyline motor is a 2.6 inline six cylinder....300zx has a 3.0 V6.....soooooo....your point is?

First off, you know absolutely $hit about me ok so don't run your mouth. You might get more than a race when you come down to SC! I have nothing to prove to some scrub who runs his mouth all the damn time. You are on an FBODY WEBSITE glorifing your 300zx. Do you think anybody wants to hear about your car, I certainly don't. If I did I would go to a nissan website. Every time you post you get about 80 responses, wonder why??? You bring nothing to this page other than getting everyone all rild up. Best thing for you to do is cut your losses now, sell both your ricers, for like $1500, and go buy an f-body while you still can! I didn't know all the mods I had came stock on an LT4 SS, my bad. Your right, I have 330hp, so when I beat you, I don't want to hear any excuses.

P.S. If I had to throw on a dual stage 200 shot of nitrous to beat you I would. Just to put an end to all the yapping!

Later, #1STUNNA
hahaha...guess I'm supposed to be scared now? not!!!! first off, I challenge you to find 1 post with me glorifying my 300zx, I only defend it when someone makes a stupid comment. I'm just trying to help you not be so narrow minded, that way you'll know why that jap car spanked you like you cussed the pope! I didn't say you only have 330hp, but I'm trying to figure out where the other 70+ hp came from.....yep, I think you are off on your hp estimate, I could be wrong, we'll see. As far as you threatening me, well, I'm surprised one of your fellow f-body members haven't called you azz out! If you gotta get all bent out of shape and make a stupid threat like that, then don't read what I type. period! I suggest you keep stupid comments like that to yourself, especially since you know nada about me ;) .....now, can we get back to having fun talking shyt? And don't worry, I'm waiting on a quote now to have my imaginary (lus1fer) 300zx trucked to a shop in Ga. to have the imaginary goods put on....so, I'll most definitely keep yall posted (especially when it's done)....until then, you still haven't sent me the addy or phone number....Is there a 1/4 mile track near you?

Let's see your time-slips then. Let's see your photos then. It's pointless criticising other people for not proving anything when you haven't proved anything....except you have a slow Nissan 200. Was it some form of supreme irony that you called someone else cocky? What is the point of Nissan making a bottom end that will withstand 700hp for a car that produces less than 300 as standard. Do they make seats that will support a 3 ton elephant, you know, just in case. If these engines will so easily withstand 700hp, why haven't Nissan made one and dominated the performance car market? The last attempt they had at making a performance car was that Ferrari/NSX lookalike thing which never even made production. Even the new 350Z doesn't make anything like that power. Why not? These are all mysteries that require some answers. Could that be why Nissan were going under and had to be bought by Renault? There are GM cranking 405hp out of a Z06 and aiming for 500hp on the next Vette only to face the serious challenge of being blown away by an old Nissan with 200 dollars worth of parts on it. Oh, call me cynical, but I'd sure like to see these questions answered...preferably by Nissan. Should we maybe shoot them an e-mail? He he.[/quote]hmmmm....got somewhere I can host a jpeg.....scanned my dyno today ;)....no timeslips though (left them in the states). ummmmm...do-do bird....an NSX is made by ACURA/HONDA!!!! not NISSAN! Anyone who has done research knows all the big jap cars (300zx,rx-7, supra, eclispe, 3kgt) came de-tuned (for reliabilty or insurance purposes I guess)....anyone who knows me personally, knows I don't have a need to blow smoke, I prove myself time and time again. just give me some time, I'll have a few of your f-body boyz/girlz over here running for cover ;)

haahaha....so what were we supposed to learn from that site?....If you think the max power you can get from an rb26dett is 450hp, you are lost without a cause...go do some more research....you get a D- for that :) .....whoever wrote that was referring to "sport" turbo upgrades, the smallest of aftermarket upgrade turbos, similar to the hybrid going on my 300zx. There are about 15+ different turbo combinations available for skylines, probably more....and I haven't even started with the single turbo conversions, those are just the twin turbo versions. hahaha...you went and found a site where you could find the lowest hp rating and referred everyone to it, check the ones I posted, and enjoy the taste of reality checks all in yo face!!!!

For the record (again) There are several differances between aLT4 conversion and the stock LT4. Does it put out the 429hp that the mags got out of it? Probably not, but its closer to that then to 330.

Just trying to help ya out.

Oh, Ok, I was just wondering, I don't know anything about LT4 conversions, I'm not really doubting, more curious than anything. I've met plenty of people quoting hp numbers that they gathered from a magazine, but they don't have anywhere near the numbers the magazines quote. Is the LT4 conversion a popular upgrade for LT-1 owners?

A full conversion is under 3k. Add in the option of CNC'd heads, throw a CC306 cam at it, back it up with programing and the usual suspect supporting cast (Long tubes etc.) and 400RWHP is a conservative estimate.

So I would say yes its popular. Same power as a Vorteched LT1, for less money.

ok, i didn't realize lt-1's respond that well to mods....seems there should be alot of hyped up LT-1's around, since you can buy the cars at a fairly cheap price...I always heard the LT-1 offered more bottom end grunt than the LS-1, that true? that's cherry though, maybe me and mr. green LT1 might have a pretty good race, with my mods I should be around the 400 mark at the wheels.

I just want to apologize for getting $hity with you! I have owned my car for two years now and have dumped atleast $13,000 into it getting it to were it is now. I have about $7000 more to go and I will be done for a while. So for someone(outsider) to come on hear and tell me they are going to beat me, well, I kind of take that personal because I know what my car can do. I am no where near the fastest on this board for sure, there is always someone faster, but like I said, I am just not sweating you. 300z's were big when I was in high school in the early to mid 90's. I know the twin turbo was about even with a stock Z28 heads up so yeah, you get bigger turbos, I get a bigger head & cam package were are back at it again. It's all about money and I got plenty to waste if I have too:) It would take someone like you beating me to drive me into getting my 383/vortech(and God forbid NOS) combo started, then it's good night forever run-fo-cuva....but I don't need all that right now to beat you:) Anyway, keep me posted on when you will be here so I can put the race on the board and have camaro fans jumping for joy.:) Later, mr. green lt1
Everything is cherry mr. green LT-1...I have a ball talkin shyt on the net, but, I'm waiting on a quote now to have my car shipped to Ga. for a shop to install the turbos, etc....as soon as that happens (who knows when) I'll post it somewhere. Don't get me wrong, I like all cars, I'm not just an import fan, I've got friends with f-bodies, mustangs, as well as older muscle cars and of course imports. You are right about the money thing, I went with the small turbos because they were about $1-3G's cheaper than the larger kits (but they come with tubular exhaust mannies+ )....since I'll only drive the car when I visit the states, didn't make alot of sense for me to spend big $$$ on the turbos, I just got everything I need to run the big turbos when I do get them, besides, I'm guessing in the next few years, someone will have an even better setup than the best one out now. so enjoy that sweet ride, I should be in SC. soon enough.;)

Well, here's the latest update from the R4C files ;)...The 300zx should be getting picked up tomorrow to go to the shop to have the new turbos and supporting mods put on, the guyz said it should take them two weeks to do everything, so it looks like the race in SC. will be a reality. I think my damn exhaust finally came for the 200sx (going to check tomorrow), I've already put a couple other goodies on the 'ol slow-poke 200 too....so, Gil, are you ready for our re-match? I've been keeping quiet, and the retings on this forum has dropped...lol...now, the shyt talkin begins, again!!! Gil, I hope you ordered a new set of stripes, I'm takin a set home with me!!!! Oh yeah, for all of you who didn't meet me or know me, you want have a problem recognizing me this time...lol...I'll be wearing a hat with my screen name on it ;) ....you LT-1 boyz/girlz just consider it directions!!!! ;)

huh? you mis-understand, my 300zx is in the states...I'm here in germany, my car here is a nissan 200sx, that's what ran 15.2....the 300zx was running in the 12's when i left the states, it should have ~50-100 HP more in a few weeks. The 200sx has a lil more get-up and go too ;)....see yall at bitburg this weekend if all goes as planned.

Sorry I haven't replied. Did ya miss me? I figured I'd just let you talk yourself up again because you fell so hard on your face last time, I figure you're probably spending a small fortune so you can pretend you didn't spend much and then you'll run a respectable time and claim it cost you three bucks. The thing is, my friend has a Skyline GT and he tells me the reality of it, the real cost and the real failures. He's a dyed-in-the-wool Nissan man and he doesn't believe you either and his car is very modified, looks like the Starship Enterprise and he still won't race me. Once I get this suspension gear on, I'll hopefully transmit power to the wheels rather than the body but I'll wait until I run it before I even think about claiming it. LOL.
