I got my credit card taking away theat was my wifes answer to the problem but I memorized my number and got myself in more trouble. I think it is normal though.

I do get the urge to buy stuff everytime I go surfing on sites with parts or appearence goodies. That is why I have to clear stuff with the wife before I get it. You are not alone man. If it were up to me, that Visa would be maxed the F**k out.

PS: 24h duty is no help either

know what you mean, Rick is mad all the time when I spend more money on more cars or more parts... but at least he helps me to fix them!

As a matter of fact I just got on to read some posts and purchase some more goodies for the TA. What you need is a wife with the understanding that this is your hobby. Hawk knows what I'm talking about. I had to give a little to get a little, but also getting your a$$ handed to you by a extended cab, hill billie pick up truck really helps.

After that day she told me that there would be a cold day in hell if I ever embarrassed her like that again. Then she gave me the direct order to make the car go faster(got to love a women like that).

Sure it can. Just get her out there and tell her that there is no way that you can loose. When you do, return to here with the puppy dog eyes and tell her how terrible it felt to have your a$$ handed to you. She might buy into it. Unlike my wife, I didn't get to say a word. She straight up told me, "make the car go faster".

Yep my car is fast enough no need to do any more upgrades. I will just park it this winter and hope it goes faster next summer. BTW I plan to go on leave back to the states this winter.

I know what you mean. I bought my Bilstein handling kit which was costly enough with all the import tax and 17.5 % VAT and then I entered the "might as well" phase - well, I might as well have the LCA's, Adj. PHB and uprated sway bars but given the fact that I'll be paying all that carriage, I might as well have the SFC's as well and I might as well have the throttle body by-pass. Now all I have to do is find the time to fit them. Could be sitting there a long time..

Well as you know it doens't stop until you or the car is dead. That's life. I haven't stopped by a long shot even though I know I should. Only live once might as well enjoy it while you can.
I lost count after 35. And to think I'm looking for a LS1 too. Want a 427 w/ a single turbo. Preferrably as a FireHawk.
