Quote: Sorry I haven't replied. Did ya miss me? I figured I'd just let you talk yourself up again because you fell so hard on your face last time, I figure you're probably spending a small fortune so you can pretend you didn't spend much and then you'll run a respectable time and claim it cost you three bucks. The thing is, my friend has a Skyline GT and he tells me the reality of it, the real cost and the real failures. He's a dyed-in-the-wool Nissan man and he doesn't believe you either and his car is very modified, looks like the Starship Enterprise and he still won't race me. Once I get this suspension gear on, I'll hopefully transmit power to the wheels rather than the body but I'll wait until I run it before I even think about claiming it. LOL. hahaha...tell your friend i said he's an idiot! I'm willing to bet he bought a GT-s and not the GT-R...right? everyone knows the gt-s's are the bastard children of the skyline family....God forbid he bought an R-32 GT-S with the RB20DET....hahaha...a 2.0L six cylinder! He doesn't have to believe me, I have a million other people to back up anything I say/claim...period! and just because he likes nissan, doesn't means he knows alot abouth any of them, other than what he has....if he's doubting anything about my 300zx, tell him to send me his e-mail addy, and I'll personally send him my dyno and the phone number to the shop that dynoed it. Every nissan enthusiast knows the "silvia" and how it responds to mods, so I don't know what he's doubting about the SR20DET....btw; silvia is what a euro-spec 200sx is called in japan....and no, it's not the same 200sx as stateside (not even close...stateside is a 240sx...lol...go figure)stateside never got the turbo engines in the 240's and definetly not in the 200sx's...we have a race this weekend, I've done the following to the ol 200sx; 3" exhaust, front mounted intercooler, 255lt.hr. fuel pump and turned the boost up from 10psi to 15psi....last time with just an airfilter and the stock 10psi boost it ran 15.2 @ 91mph with a 2.6 sixty footer....the sixty foot time shouldn't change, so we'll see what happens to my trap speed, not to mention my rematch with Gil ....Gil! I'm ready for that autobahn run too! ...you might beat me in the 1/4, but I'm interested in us running from a roll where you don't get the launch advantage....matter of fact, bring along one of the LS-1 boyz too! I need a measuring stick!

Quote: Wow Mr. Smartass, no need to get defensive. I didn't even mention any names, but if you think that I was talking about you, maybe I should.
You know it's one thing to talk smack, but unless you can actually back up ANY of the talk, it's quite pointless as far as I'm concerned.. Bruce can talk smack, because as it stands right now, he is the fastest person here. You, on the other hand, haven't proven squat, except that you know how to run your mouth.
Like Bruce said, you do more smack talking on the board than you do in person, just like every other troll on the internet. Oh, don't worry, I don't get defensive....and I'll back up everything I say....hahaha...care to tell me exactly what I'm supposed to be backing up? I didn't think you could! I proved my point last year in my eclispe, after i crushed one of your fellow LT-1's nobody else decided they wanted a piece of the 'ol eclispe, alot of people talked their smack, but nobody lined up next to me....I talked shyt and backed it up then, I'll do it again! (as soon as I get the rest of my parts) but what i have now should give you LT-1 boyz/girlz a run for your money

Quote: I didn't see that race, personally, so I don't know what happened, if anything. I don't have a LT1, though, so that doesn't matter. If you did beat it, it must have been stock. What was your dial in time, if you don't mind me asking. I seem to remember you sitting on the side for most of the day.. I am sure most of those here would be willing to race you either on the track, or on the autobahn, so when you think you are ready to race, just let me know... There's a Supra TT for sale in the paper today in the NL. Why don't you sell the 200sx and the 300z, and buy that. Then you might actually make some of us worry. you have got to be on crack!!! sell a tt 300zx for a supra!?!?! hahaha...you funny! If yall worried about supras on the highway, then you should be worried about 300zx's just as much, and don't sleep on the 200sx either! they make very large turbos for these too! I didn't bracket race, hence no dial in...I was in the marked off grudge races....fwd high horsepower cars don't do well in 1/8th mile drags...1/4 mile gives me enough space to run you back down. Yep I was a spectator after the 1/4 races....and yes I have walked LS-1 's with that car on the highway...challenged yall's hero to a autobahn race that day too....hehehe...he kinda blew me off....maybe he was scurred! remember that bruce? Ok...me, you, the autobahn this weekend at bitburg. Like I said, I need to know where I stand.

R4C. What happened to that Eclipse? I mean, if it was so good, where did it go and why was it got rid of? Did it explode? What did it actually run? Did too many expensive mods mean you had to sell it or was it just a boring car? LT1's can run anything from low to high 14's so it's all pretty meaningless. You see, you've had your Eclipse and now you've got a pair of butt-ugly Nissans but people on this board eat, live and breathe F-bodies and will probably always own one. Which is why I'll put my money on Jack. Hell, I'd put my money on Jack if you had an LS1 too.

Which is why I'll put my money on Jack. Hell, I'd put my money on Jack if you had an LS1 too. I junked the eclispe, it wasn't that much fun, all I would do is spin tires up to 50mph, i was tired of playing catchup. Hahaha...who care about LT-1's running 14's....that car ran 14.2 @97mph with an exhaust and the boost turned up on the 100,000+ mile stock motor! and that was with a 2.3 sixty foot. hahaha....a high flow fuel pump, more boost on a larger turbo, and some big cams later....well....let me put it this way, LS-1's were my breakfast on the highway. it's funny how people get all sorts of courage when you don't have the car anymore, "i would've run you" is all i hear, that day at the track i was talking very loud and sking who wanted some, "chirp, chirp, chirp" was all i heard. The guy (butch) with the chevelle with the 454 actually beat me (wheel spin and my lights were'nt working)but i guess yall seen how badly i was running him down so yall decided that if i could hook at the lights, it would probably be very ugly for all of yall(hahaha, too bad i crushed him out on the highway a week prior). I do give props to the guy with the pretty red z28 with the chrome rims, he did give me a thumbs up after the race.

There is no chance of you reeling me in if you think that is what you are going to do. Once I am ahead, that's all she wrote. I can PULL all day. But, once again, beeting a dead horse here. Now I am pissed because this post beat my all time record in replies. Oh well, later 300"G". Mr Green LT1... Yep, the highway! hahahaha...."I can pull all day"....tell that to the LS-1 with 125shot! or the three crotch rockets I beat....keep talkin! I'm not saying anything more.....hehehehe....start from 60mph good with you?

Man you guys are cracking me up! Never seen so much chit talking ever on this board. I ain't saying nothing other than you might want to rethink or rephrase some words. You might just get dealt w/. Don't know why some of us think we can't be touched by a smaller displacement engine spooled. Some of you ain't doing the homework. IF RC4 knows what he's doing you may have problems. Ever see the clip w/a Vette 427 by Doug Rippie up against a DSM? The DSM pulled him from the jump and the 427 hawked him down of course but it took 2 gears to do it. And that DSM only had 18psi coming out of it w/ a good 6 more left in from what's been reported.
Then there is the 200sx vid roaming around anihalating a cammed LS1 w/ LT's. SO don't be too cocky and always know the competition. Hell I've been beat myself playing w/ a Carerra 4 come to find out he's sprayin a 125 shot. Didn't loose by much but the point is I lost. Those 4 bangers don't require alot and they one up you coming w/ a forged bottom end. So if he has the skills and tune it.......trouble is a possibility.
Not sticking up for RC4 just stirring up some contro And something to think about......

Yeah, well we all read the 14.2 @ 97 (zzzzzz)for this apocalyptically fast "it was no fun" Eclipse but we didn't see any figures after that, right? Just the usual "claims". Man, some big block Chevelles run 16's. Besides, if, despite all those mods, "it was no fun", what's the point? I don't think anyone has ruled out the possibility of being beaten (I've seen too many 12 second Cosworths to not consider it) but most of those guys don't shout about it, they get out there and let the numbers talk (and their pockets for the most part...I see 400hp Sierras where the owners quite freely talk about pumping 20k into the car and with some of the Skyline GTR's, we're talking a different cash pool altogether). The fact is, we all know the possibility exists but we ain't seen nothing so far to suggest that might be a probability.

Hey I will volunteer my car for the autobahn run . R4C I don't know I think . My car is the average run of the mill LS1 with. My major mods mods are suspension and brakes. I still have the stock heads and a factory made camshaft. So how a bout a triple threat race.
1. Grudge race 1/4
2. autocross
3. autobahn
It should be interesting. WHat do you say.
