F-bodies John has not did the 1/4 but should be 12's pretty easy Jeff did a 12 something also that would be a good race. There was a race 2nd gen with a blower running 12.3 a blew Nitrous sniffing 1 gen sweet running mid 12's Maybe garry can download the end of season race results? 10-15 cars running 12s and quicker A class.

Bruce, what time did you end up running this weekend?
BTW: Was in ramstein all Saturday selling the Honda and Sunday we didn't even have a car so I could not get anywhere fast. Thats why i never showed this weekend. But got the PCM back in yesterday (the day after the races) and the Z runs like it should with a S/C. Pretty ticked that I missed the last race of the season by one day...

I think that his best time was 11.5, but he was very happy that he made half of his goal. The half that he was happy with was running 138 mph in the 1/4.

Yes, but "in theory", it's gotta be Run-4-Cover. What? What did I say....?

1/4 mile Bruce w/ my the current setup. However if I was playing w/ the giggle and a 12" rear no doubt me. Almost inclined to prove it but drag ain't my thang and could really care less who's fastest. But that's the 1/4 though....flat out? Me no question. Bruce is fast but isn't setup for that just like I'm fast and not setup for 1/4's but setup for flat out.
He'll out accelerate rate me on gears alone but then my gears will come into play and he'll be Hawked down and passed. 2 different ball games.
Question is who has the ultimate street car aka Triple Threat pound for pound?

What do you mean, John? You mean you are setup for the autobahn? You have 3.23 gears, right? Is that why? Do you ever plan to run the beast in the 1/4? You could really do some damage with that thing.. I'm just bored and wondering. It's not that important to me, but I have nothing else to do than wonder..

Correct. That is why. The engine was built specifically for the bahn and road race in mind. 1st-3rd has the exact same ratio as the Z06 1st gear is steep. 4-6 are similiar to the 3.42's. 6th gear isn't a overdrive gear for me either. Not anymore anyways.
Jack how long you in Kosovo for? Any word on the car?

I will be here until the end of November, or the very beginning of December. I am going on leave for two weeks when I get back.

I say Silas. If you beat him it's because he let you beat him. Never forget that! That is the sickest camaro I have ever seen and it's getting worse. He has money trees in his back yard so watch out. Piss him off he just might blow/turbo that thing. My two cents. I would never put money against him, you never know what he might pull out of his sleeve. -mike-

I agree Mike. I mean how many guys are in this club who have 4th gens with 396s? Only one that I can count. If that thing was setup for the 1/4, I think it would tear some chit up! On the autobahn, though, I believe it will tear some chit up! I think he needs to work out ALL the kinks before adding a power adder!! If that thing had a turbo like my cousin's '95, it would be even more unreal.

Yup John I was nervous racing with street tires. I took some of your advice about triple threat concept. My car is still streetable and running mid 11's so thanks to you I ordered 3.89 and not 4.60. I will be doing shocks and roll cage this winter. I am looking at the wolf roll cage if you want one I may be able to get us a deal and save money. let me know.

Yes I would like a 6 or 8 pt rollbar. The 6 pt is probably good enough for what this car will do. Now get to work on the good deal.
