Maybe we can combine some parts of the Video with this coming Sunday Meeting in K-Town?

Is the K-Town meeting this Sunday or the 27th?

The weather will be great, will only snow on the ring.

OK, if I understand correctly this is the plan for the FBE video. Anyone that wants to attend/participate will meet at the McDonald's in Vogelway(sp) just outside the entrance to Pulaski Barracks. Departure from McDonald's is planned for 10 am. We will then go do what-ever where-ever and return to a 'diner' in K-Town to eat at 2 pm. All of this is happening THIS Sunday, 27 October. If the weather on Sunday should turn out to be crappy then the whole deal is off. Does that sound correct? Please let me know.

Yes that sounds correct!
If the weather is bad or the streets are wet we
will not meet for the Video at 10am McD but still meet
at 2pm at the Diner. Final decision Saturday night.
Diner is Kaiserslautern Exit East, on B40 go towards downtown, after few hundred meters somewhere right hand side.

Well, the way the weather forecast for tomorrow looks, I recon we can cancel the video takes for tomorrow - don't think it'll be worth doing the takes with it either raining or so clouded we can't get the cars to look halfway decent ... Guess it's only diner at 2PM ... P.S. - don't forget the clock change tonight!

For the guys in and around Ktown, we should make a habit out of meeting at the Diner!

I agree. Maybe next time I'll actually be able to find the "diner." I actually came up the back way by Kleber and went through the city all the way to Landsthul. Then on the way back Al and I stopped at McDonald's and then went to Vogelwegh? to see if we could order the 2004 GTO (350HP LS1 with a 6-speed). Looks like first orders won't be taken until around April.
Anyway, next time I promise to find the place. I'll even remember to bring some phone numbers with me so I can call and get help. Hope everyone that made it had a good time.
In case you'd like to see what the new GTO looks like http://www.pontiac.com/pontiacjsp/passion/news/images/PontiacGTO_1024.jpg

Quote: Quote: For the guys in and around Ktown, we should make a habit out of meeting at the Diner! I agree. Maybe not ... their service s@cked ... Jerry and Linda waited till after finishing their food for their drinks, Rick's daughter had to wait forever for her food, and while the manager or shift leader (whatever) told Linda the food was on the house because of the trouble, after the shift change they came up behind us to the outside complaining why we didn't pay up (after half the people had already left). Ended up at least only paying the food, drinks were on them ... oh well, had a good time at least ... Quote:
No F-Body, but doesn't look too bad ... guess they'll have the LS1 in there, or?

Garry, who paid for our food. We need to pay them. Don't know what the problem was. The manager told Linda that the entire meal was on the house. If you paid for ours, let me know how much it was, including Nick's, and how to get the money to you. If someone else paid for it, please let me know who it was. We definitely don't want someone else to have to pay for our meal. Also, I like the idea of getting together somewhere, but not at the Diner after what they did. There are other places though.
Jerry

Jerry, Linda,
I paid, but don't worry.
Told Rick that he will be paying next time,
so the second next Kamilla's and my bill
are on you.

Dennis,
the diner is on B40, which is the road when you are coming from Sembach going downtown, just if you are curious.
Food is not bad, but service... was there twice and it
didn't get any better.

Silke, we are sure sorry about the mix up and I know that the diner will never see my business again. We would be more then happy to pay for our bill and yours since we left you with the mess to deal with. Maybe we can come to Pirmesan and take you and your daughter out for a nice dinner and evening, you pick the place and we can have a nice evening out on Jerry...Once again I am so sorry for the mix up, and thank you so much.
Linda

I don't mean we should eat there. I just think it would make a cool hangout spot. The only thing it really lacks is the drive-thru service so many of you probably remember.

Jack it will be nice when you get back as NO one from this area gets together... maybe you can help change that...
Jerry is going to see the manager of the diner, as he is a little P*ssed right now so who know what will happen... but it is a great place to meet...
