I was not aware of that problem, but we definitely need to get together. I'm thinking at least twice a month, weather permitting. There are plenty of gas stations, so maybe we could make a permanent hangout spot at one of them. I think the Shell gas station in Landstuhl would be ideal.

Jack that would be great, the shell station sounds like a winner...
There is a BIG problem Jack, Jerry and I went to Hawks party and there was a very poor show from the f-body club. Now I know there are a few of you deployed and that is understandable but there are alot that were not, if there isn't a race or car show there is no show, what happened to the value of friendship!!! We did have a wonderful time at Hawk and Ingrid's they were terrific hosts and I did get the "FULL" feel of the firehawk, (better then sex!) I am talking about the car ha ha...

why you all want to hang out at a gas station???
if you don't have a problem driving up to Pirmasens we can make my house the meet or hangout point, off-the street parking possible, even for more cars enough space on the street in a normal village neighborhood.
we would not have to freeze outside and we can go eat about 100 meters from here and come back with no managers in our neck. ;) and even working on cars in my backyard (when the weather gets better) is no problem in the neighborhood.
Hope they got the Autobahn section going by fixed soon, then it is only 15 minutes from Landstuhl Autobahn only.

Twice a month - that would be OK if we were talking about a 30mi drive maximum for everybody ... :( Thinking about the distance many people have to drive to either K-Town, Vilseck, or whereever, it's probably not too likely we'd have a big turnout ... heck, even most of the K-Town area folks didn't even show up Sunday! (no, not going to list names ...)

We should much rather see that we maybe have another two bigger meets, like one for Christmas, one around Feb/Mar before the new season starts ... set dates early enough so most people will be able to attend (maybe get rooms for those coming from further away if necessary) ...

When Jack gets back we need to check with everyone that wants and WILL get together once or twice a month (weather permitting) from the whole club and figure out meeting places, whether or not it is at a diner, gas station, people's houses. For the ones that want to get together that live at different areas, maybe we can change each month so no one has to drive far everytime, or we can meet in K-town so I never have far to go... J/K

I'm only talking about the Ktown guys. The Vilseck area has their frequent get togethers, so I don't see why we can't do something too. It would be so cool to see a big showing of cars in Ktown like at the BP in Nurnberg. I don't know why most aren't interested, but it shouldn't matter for those of us who are. ;)

You got that right Jack.. But for some reason the K-town people don't or won't get together... Makes me wish sometimes we lived at Vilseck...
When you get back we will try to get people together like Vilseck...

Sounds great! It is hard for me not to make these meets, unless I am deployed or without a car. ;)
