Just thought I'd post some stats ... ;) These are from the database currently held in the board, with everything since May 2001 ...

We have a total of 26947 in 2525 discussion threads (OK, add 1 on both for this one ;) ). At the moment we have 288 members (most of which are rather quiet ... :( ), which adds up to about one new member every two days ... the database takes up about 18megs of space just for the message board, not counting page data or pictures and stuff ...
On average, there are about 49 posts per day, with JackZ28 alone contributing over 7 a day, being responsible for 17% of all posts ... (Jack, do you need a job??). Bruce is in close pursuit with 11.5% or almost 6 posts per day ...

OK, so much about this, now back to our regular broadcast ... ;)

And 90% of his have probably been contributed in the last 6 months alone! He is trying to catch me, and gaining rather strongly, since I don't post nearly as frequently as I used to! ;)

Hm ... don't think so ... not from the database itself - could probably export the posts, then let another program count it ...

As of 2 minutes ago, there were 1265645 words in the posts ... can't tell that easily who posted how many, though ... ;)

hm, that is how I appreciate you,
no matter how insane my question is...
you always got an answer.

(I may not always like it...)
