What's that? Where did you get it? I am sick of the big, bulky and ugly factory steering wheel.

Not trying to get in your business, but depending on what state your from the car will fail a visual inspection because a safety component is missing. Also USAREUER has cracked or is cracking down on vehicles with missing or inoperative airbags. Just FYI man.

That sucks, and it's BS, because your car is your car, and if you don't want an airbag, you shouldn't be required to have one. Oh well. :?

Wow, good point Roy. No tellin what kind of warranties you would void or what your insurance policies, both car and life, say about it in the fine print. Yeah, it is your car, but there are alot of morrons out there that think they can sue for anything these days, and those companies have to cover their a$$es. I was watching this one program, and they were talking about fat kids parents sueing McDonald's because they thought that burgers and fries were healthy, and that it was McDonald's fault that their kids are fat. Pfft.

Rob, did you know that that dumb@$$ woman who burned her crotch, because the lid did not have any kind of warning, was awarded over $1,000,000,000? That's right, over one billion dollars, just for being STUPID and having a good attorney.

Nothing, because you can't sue the Army, unless you are a civilian, and even then, it would require you to know everyone in Congress to win anything.

i'm not going to sue anybody. i have my vehicle inspected in kitzigen and all they look for on the steering wheel is that the horn works. i looked into this and nowhere says i have to have an airbag in my car. but thanks for the outlook.

The state law for Kentucky says that you have to have working seat belts, and all lights/signals work on the vehicle and some sort of insurance. The only inspections you have to through is emissions once every two years only if you live in the major cities. As for a warrenty, its a '94 and i don't think the guy who orginally bought it got the really-extended warrenty. Besides, if i do run into trouble with an inspection, i'm sure there will be a friendly fbody owner back home who might donate on for inspection purposes. my LaCorra has been with me since my first car (79 TA). but thanks for the heads up.

I only said that because Rob asked if he could sue for burning his tongue in the chow hall. :)

I didn't think that you yourself would be doing the sueing. I guess that is kinda extreme, but I think it is something to be thinking about before you go and swap out the steering wheel. I know your '94 has not been under warrenty for a time now, but for Jack or someone with a car that is newer, they might run into trouble about it. Maybe I took it too far with what I was saying, but I think it was a good point to bring up, thanks Roy.

Rob

BTW, I sued the chowhall... I got a cup of soup out of it. ;)
