Sven, I have diagnosed that you have multiple personalities which you have inherited from your fourfathers.

ok I typed this up at work (in my break time) and sent it home per email
and copied it into here
because it is freezing really bad now, and not all rooms in my home are
heated, would be too expensive and cost me an arm and a leg to do so,
besides the work until I get all the fireplaces burning. Why? Because my
house is a little too big, the sealings of most of the room upstairs where
I have my apartment are way to high (it used to be a dancing hall before I put walls in for dividing it into separate rooms) and there is no centralized heating system, I burn oil or wood in antik stoves. To make
this short, I would freeze to dead before I get something typed on the
computer, at least my fingers could not move anymore after 3 minutes. No
this is not joking or making up a story, it is reality to me. My home is
build out of those big bricks cut out of the typical rocks of this area,
the same as the castles are built from. In sommer time it is nice and
cool, don't need any airconditioning, but in wintertime you got to love
the house to survive living in it. And to clear the questions of my
basement: It is about 600 years old, a big hole cut into rocks. The
chains, the huge spiders, the rats and undefined bones are no stories, but
real. It is even colder than the rest of the house, and whoever wants to
stay there over night: have fun!!! (Ask King Richard from England, while
Robin Hood was waiting for him, he was in chains in the basement of the
Trifels - not too far from here) The lower parts are by now filled up with
soil and dirt, there used to be more rooms in the basement, as well as
there is other secret corners in the house. There is also a very old well.
My house was the very first of my small town, it used to be a guesthouse,
a reststop on the old road between Karlsruhe and Zweibruecken, where the residences were at.

ah,The winter is getting colder, in a place of a frozen sun. Alone I stand on a mountainside,

breathing the clearest winds.

The winds are everblowing, with that cold arctic ice blast, a blast right off the northern glaciers-

Blowing snow circling, descending into the valleys, Into accumulations of drifts. Cold winds blew at the valley walls, snow gained depth there.

So rightly I am watching, this land that I have known beyond time, just standing there a unspecified time in all eternity-

At those mountain's northern face.

Icicled peaks as far as I can see, majestic be this winter!
I will reign this place alone.

Mighty mountains of might. In a majestic raven's winter.

I shall stride purposefully through the snow-
through the icy vasts at dusk.

I shall find strength in the seasonal cold.

No I would not throw anybody in my basement and put him in chains.
Unless somebody would really want to make that experience.
No, not even then. There is no windows on the basement, only holes
cut into the rock, and now stuffed with a bag filled with straw, to keep
the worse cold and wind outside.

And now back into my warm heated livingroom.

I am familiar with the area and I have been up to the trifels castle
I used to ride my bike through Johannes Kruez and Pfalzer Wald back in the late 90's before they started closing off some roads- as you know, people where constantly getting killed and mangled

it's a nice area. Not so nice for scientists of excessive speed and brute horsepower and other speed limit defying demons anymore

Behold, in the nebular raven's winter,
winds shall be known from whence they blow.

witness the sun sinking below,
feel the challenge of the cold against your will -the biting ancient winds uncaring
winter's pain, winter's sorrow.
feel the winds from the dark ice realms,

look upwards to aural clouds-noctilucent ones
beyond the ice clouds-crystalline formations beyond, towards realms above-
above that which is under winter's robe of ice

melancholic ageless and unknown
look right into the elder raven's black eyes- and it shall be made known
it shall be made known to you from the velvet one.

Noctambulant.

I had to put a little coolant in my LT-1 today. The reservoir has been a little low for months and I never got around to doing it but- it is all good now- and I had a radiator flush less than ten months ago. Just got done, after a general systems check up. All within acceptable parameters. Also got the Hayabusa in a basement- disconnected the battery .The Hayabusa loves the cold air but now it is so cold I can't get the tires up to operating tempurature. Another late night. Oh well. I am listening to my favorite lifetime band- DURAN DURAN. Had a long talk with a lady from the " Rotes Kruez" (Red Cross)
venting some issues, but things have been excellent.

My LT-1 loves the cold air and can't get enough of it. It begs for more, always, And the K&N Filtercharger system delivers. It starts up quicker in the winter than in the summer.

Life is good.

We should just call this the LuS1fer, Squirrelina, and Sven Show.

from Seven and the Ragged Tiger-

"I'll light my torch and wave it for the New Moon on Monday-
- and a firedance through the night-

I stayed that cold day, with a loneley satellite-

New Moon on Monday, and a firedance through the night-
I stayed the cold night, with a lonley satellite"-

-Lebon, Rhodes, Taylor

Love DURAN DURAN.

from Arena-

"They tried to tame us, looks like they'll try again-
Wild Boys, never lose it
Wild Boys, never chose this way,
Wild Boys, never close your eyes
Wild Boys always shine!"
