Embrace my Elysian Fields-
Come with me
Take my hand, quiet one
In your eyes, in your heart
I shall be a haven forevermore.
I kiss your tears, my sweet one
And lay you down, through these meadows
these Meadows of Heaven.
The Sky sings it's Song,
And the Land as well,
a song forged by time, and ethreal rhythms.
In your dreams
my arms is your bed
and my kiss your breath
your Breath of Life.
your source of strength
and foundation.
Forever yours
through these Meadows of Heaven
Where we shall run forevermore
for eternity.

Throughout the still midnight,
I sleep blissfully.
I shall enter my dreamscape.
I am falling, falling silently, effortlessly, peacefully-
falling from the highest mountain-
falling-
into a valley of soft lush leaves.
I shall glide through the day-the passing day,
gliding as it passes,
never to return.
As a leaf carried away in a river
carried away in the liquid vortex
with no hope of ever returning to the tree,
ever returning to the tree once strong,
and with no destination.
Wayne and Silke, this is Sven, who else could it be?
Today, in the light of day, I shall carry on the dreams of the passing night.
And as I gaze upon the silent twilight, I shall embrace life.
Banished are the rages of yestarday,
dawn shall fall in time, for the morning to shine.
I embrace the "fading" of the fall-
And cherish the darkened times of winter-
For when the daylight returns in the Spring
the new life shall always forever have a special meaning for me.
The warmth of the Sun-
Lying in a field on a warm day,
a newborn puppy dog trying to walk-
stumbles over to you and kisses you on your face.
The smile on My mother whenever she sees me-
shows me a love that she has for me- a love that no matter what I do-
I can never repay her in full- for all the love she has shown me.
I always remember the hard times. It makes the easy times more special. And I shall never take anything for granted.
I am swept away in emotion-
I shall write again later.

I get to Germany in 14 hours. Woo woo! I have a 6 hour layover in Lisbon. That sucks. Hopefully, the Z/28 will be there soon. Shipped from Orlando, FL on the 18th of Nov. My squadron (52 AMX) hasn't helped me a bit, though. No sponsor help at all. I don't even know where to go when to Spangdalem. Shouldn't be to hard to find my way around. (Famous last words!) Anyway, see you guys in a bit.

ja, Spang is not too big, so you should be able to find your way.
Was wondering already because not hearing any of you for a while.
If I can help you on non-military stuff, let me know, I am about
1,5 hours away.
BTW... you still need some car for winterdriving, right?
Will look out for good offers ...

Squizza
I tried to change my avatar a million times but my photo programme doesn't like pictures that small but if you look closely, you'll see my pet dragon asleep in the right exhaust pipe.
Sven, as Spike Milligan once movingly wrote:
"Today I saw a little worm
Wriggling on it's belly
I watched it for a little while
Then squashed it with my welly"
Deep eh? And it works on so many different levels.......
And would you believe it, Showaddywaddy are no longer cool, this week it's the Bay City Rollers.

OK LuS1fer- no problem. I have trouble keeping up with the latest stuff.
yeah that's deep. A "in your face" type of deep.
The dog will hunt the duck, Squirrelina.
although I have seen otherwise.

...the duck got the puppy and I killed the duck.
LuS1fer - my pet dragon sleeps in the basement.
Too big for even a ricer exhaust pipe.

ok... I will not mention any basements anymore...
did you guys and girls do all your christmas shopping?
I did not. not yet. hate christmas.
commercialized diktatorship, implemented by church to
change a heathen fest over to a christen fest,
(even back then they knew that you should not take some
fest away from the public without giving them something better instead, the german government did not learn that yet...)
but AFAIK Jesus was born in Summer,
and all those other s*** is just business and moneymaking.
concerning me, they should change it back to some blazing fest around the light, that what it seems to be anyhow when I see some houses around here...
have you ever seen a ricer house? I got to drive by one every day...
you think there is no spot free on the house/in the yard to put more
lights.... wrong. they put more up every week!!!
why lighten up your heart and your soul when you can plug the plug into the wall...
dear neighbors:
GET MORE GREEN AND RED AND BLUE AND YELLOW LIGHTS IN YOUR FRONT YARD!!!
I may hide in the basement all next week.... Sorry LuS1fer.

No offence to the religious types but it's just a holiday and a season of goodwill and gross excess. My 3 year old daughter's birthday is December 12th so imagine a house full of double the number of presents she hasn't got enough hours in the day to play with. I need a bigger house as my decor is increasingly more Barbie than Chevy.
Have a great Christmas whatever your belief, whatever your budget. And just wonder how Christmas came to mean snow, conifers and lights when Jesus was (allegedly) born in a desert.

It's true. it is very sad but absoluteley true, and quite pathetic.
What really get's me is when people expect me to go along with their complete ineptness and ignorance. They try to get me to be completeley vain, shallow and stupid like them. I am sorry, people, if I am not in the "holiday spirit" either. I do not mean to offend anyone, but how you live your life is your business. People should not push or intrude their lives on others or into other people's spaces without any given consideration, (even just because everyone seems to do it- especially during this holiday season). That however is just my opinion.
