Just came across a for-sale add for a Camaro ... german tax system is kind of funny ... but this ...
The for sale add had the Camaro listed as a _truck_!!! I wrote to the guy and asked him out of curiosity ... he confirmed it - he took out the rear seats, and once more than half of the interior consists of transportation space without any seating room, you can have the car legally registered as a truck, dramatically reducing taxes and insurance ... can you imagine? A sport-coupe-truck?

Quote: But, is there a truck bed, where the back window used to be???
Don't ask me if/what else he did - maybe he'll be over to the board, I invited him to the site in case he still is driving an F-Body ... but from what he told me in his mail, the main change was the removal of the seats ...

You guys never seen El Camaro ????
It's a Purple kickass chopped 4th gen Camaro to resemble an El Camino !
It has a killer purple paint, blower, bigg rims, etc.
They also made an Orange version that even had Ferrari F-40 seats !

Yikes! Poor Camaro ...
(Don't get me wrong - the handywork seems outstanding ... just don't like the idea ...)

Btw, is that a genuine SS they used for that, or did they just get the hood? That would really be a shame if they tore up an SS ...

looks like a RK sport hood,
As long as they were cutting up the back, the person should have just cut a hole in the hood, and saved a couple more bucks

Quote: Looks like he's got exhaust pipes coming out of the hood!! :O
The car's previous owner must have really had either the worst taste, or a bad humor ... the hood is cut out, and the parts must be from the plumbing store on the corner ... the two pipes were glued in badly, with black painted wire fence underneath. The two cut outs in front are air vent covers ... when he sprayed the stuff yellow, he did it with the hood on the car and nothing underneath - half the motor has yellow paint on it ... the rest of the car isn't in too bad a shape, but the car desperately needs a new hood IMO ...
