I am afraid GRAY T/A that there are many people in F BODY EUROPE that are movie buffs.

I am afraid that I am not.

However in just three months the northern hemisphere will begin to change seasons and I am sure many people will be looking forward to that.

A lot of things will start happening, but I am afraid my schedule will not deviate because of a lot of activities that will start happening and becoming known on the website.

GRAYT/A you will also be pleased to know that we have people on the website who are located in the U.S. also. (I don't know whom)

I don't think this thread will end anytime soon. I think it's up to Garry.
Squirrellina has started this thread one night I guess between 2 and 4 in the morning. She wanted someone to wake up- well, I looked at it the next day- and the rest is history-

And we have bounced heads ever since.

But GRAY T/A, my name is Sven Dorrian Rawlins. I am part of the "infamous Vilseck Clan" in Germany. If you do not know I am in the part of Gemany called Bavaria, and I am near to the border of the Czech Republic.

There is more than one side to my personality, as many people on the website know. Please don't let it catch you off gaurd.

If something I say pisses you off, it is nothing personal. I will be more than willing to apologize but consider it a normal reaction.

If for some reason when I write something you may think that I am straight CRAZY--

I WILL BE MORE THAN WILLING TO TELL YOU THAT I AM STRAIGHT CRAZY.

But all jokes aside, this is a very good website, Gray T/A. These people have been around awhile and we practice what we preach. No wannabes here. These people are the real deal.

Well, I see that many people here seem to be very knowledgable about a lot of things. I enjoy that. I like the say whatever thread because it does tend to be a little more philosophical about things. It has allowed me to ramble on about more useless things and so on. I have enjoyed this maybe more than the other threads I have posted on.

Anyway, I was thinking about having my Trans Am painted when I get back to the US. I have divided my rebuilding of the car into three phases.

Phase ONE should be complete when the guy working on it calls my wife this week and tells her its finally ready. At that time my signature will change because I will know exactly what parts he finally went with. But he guaranteed that it would be around 400hp. I know the general concepts and it seems sound

Phase TWO will be the exterior paint. Right now it is Gunmetal Gray with silver trim. In my years of owning the car I have only seen ONE other Trans Am with that combination. I like it because my name is also Gray, so it kinda fits me in that way too. I was thinking about trying to get the whole thing CHROMED or a Chrome color. Does anyone have any thoughts about that?? I just envision it in my head looking like the Cylons froM Battlestar Galactica. I dont know if I would go with the Red Knight Rider light or anything, but the way I see it in my head would be really cool.

Phase Three would be the little minor things..maybe new seats or at least reupholstered by then. They are fine with just some usual wear on it. None of these changes would cost more than $100 or so. Just little minor things.

Anyone have any thoughts on anything?? I plan to keep this car a very very long time and one day hand it down to my daughter or son if I should have one interested enough one day. But that will likely be after I leave this planet...I just love my car!!!

Enjoy your evening and give me any input!!!

Patrick

sorry for late reply, but I was driving all over Germany on different things for the last 3 days.

I'm sorry squirrellina. but it is the truth, because it's part of what I have to deal with as a military policeman for over 14 years.
It looks like you may be attracted to the worst guys. Much more common than you think. If that's the case you may be beyond all hope.

If that was the case squirrelina, please think about it.
I sincerely apologize if this pisses you off, but it's a fact.

hm... very interesting. now... on the first instance:
what if I tell you that I was kidnapped, put under drugs, put in chains, thread like a slave?
and all this just to hurt another man who loved me really and truly?

I got out of my situation, I shot at somebody, I do not know
their real name nor if they survived. (You gonna put me in jail now?)
Ran away... 27 days and nights hiding in rocks and woods with nothing but the clothes I had on my body... scared of any human contact.
I ate bugs and gras, cought a mouse and a small rabbit with my hands,
stole some food out of gardens at night, but there was not much left,
wrong time of the year.
I walked all way home, several hundreds of kilometers.
I do not exactly know where I started at... later on I found my way
from under autobahnbridges sneeking up to read the signs.

on the second one, ok, I was not careful enough.
he changed from nice, handsome and lovely before marriage to
throwing his job away and becoming a lazy alcoholic and a real
psycho problem... after the wedding.
I tried to change him, I tried to help him.
Because as I married him I did promise for the good and the bad days,
and first I tried to help him. He did not want any help, he did not change.
But he got totally out of control, so I took control and devorced him.

Sometimes things happen, also if you don't want them to happen.

Squirrelina,

If that first instance is really what happened to you, then you have my deepest sympathy for having been through that. I have a horror story of my own thats not too far removed from that, but I digress.

In the case of kidnapping, or rape, or other violent crimes the choices that I spoke of in my earlier thread are taken from you. It is however, still a persons choice as to how they respond to those actions. Many of those choices are obviously slanted or tainted by the experiences of that individual and how that individual processes those experiences. Obviously a retarded person would not see an event the same as Einstein.

If you really went through all of that then reaching a point where you could marry someone does show an enormous amount of personal effort and trust on your part as well. You have my admiration and respect for that. You made a brave choice.

My last thing to say would be that people have to want to change before they will actually change. Obviously this is something you have experienced as well. Sometimes a change will happen with maturity or other life experiences, but otherwise people just have to be willing to make sacrifices or changes before that can happen.

Just being a bit more philosophical again.

Patrick

GRAYT/A you may have to post a new thread with that request over at the "3rd Generation" "Appearance" or "General Technical" Sections to get a better reply.

I have this certain aura around me, which makes people naturally want to keep their distance when they get around me. It's the "Big Bad Wolf" in me. My bite is much worse than my bark, and my all conquering personality has no equal.

I am not better, just a strong sense of self identity. I show up anywhere and the giant pigs run and hide or hudle amongst themselves.

Some of them are smart. I respect them and leave them alone.
The dumb ones I simply break their necks.

The dumb ones that cause other to be dumb or are smart but act dumb and only choose to be dumb and support dumbness-

1. I skin them alive.
2. I break their legs.
3. I disembowel them.
4. Then I break their necks.

Sven,
you never really understood what I was telling in the beginning.
I am 489 years old.
Oh no, I am older than that.
This is only the count since the first rebirth of my remembrance
in the christened world with numbers.
Don't know how many years before my count I met the black wolf..
I am not scared of wolfes and giant pigs.
I know I will be around.

Am I wrapped up too tight?
Of course I am.
HHHHOOOOOOOOOWWWWWWWWWWWWWWLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLL

What I am scared of this stupid humans won't stop fighting.
Until there is none left on this beautiful planet.
That is why I consider in moving on.

(Is there other life forms out there? Yes it is. If I remember right
I was not always here on this planet...?)

I don't want to talk to aints, roaches and other bugs.
I DO NOT WANT TO BE REBORN AS AN AINT OR ROACH!

.... maybe I should stop howling and lern insect languages.
cccccccyyyyyyyyxxxxxxxzzzzzccccccccccyyyyyyyyxxxxxxxxxzzzzzzzz

just theoretical, just theoretical.
Think about it

Loooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooool

Chris, you are close. Very close.

And I just can not talk that much about cars.
Somebody would realize that I don't know it all ...

On technical stuff I say only what I can backup through
research, or experience.
