Out of 5 years stationed here in Europe, I have been to England several times. I still get figure out how to drive on the wrong side of the road. My first couple of trips was on motorcycles (and fairies). Riding a motorcycle was fairly easy there (except for pulling onto a street and remembering what side Im supposed to drive on). Another time I went was in support of (ex) President Bush. I had to drive an Airforce TMP. A 1997 Chevy Diesel, 4 door, long bed. That was a challenge. I only ran like 4 or 5 people of the road and bounced the passenger mirror off a big bus.

Nobody stopped. Th guy in the bus just waved and kept on truckin'. The other people just shot me the bird or waved their fist. It wasn't like I was just trying to be an a-hole or something, I was just trying to drive that monster they told me to drive.
Although, since then, I have got a rental with the steering wheel on the wrong side, they are a lot easier to handle!!!

American love beating up on the porche's M3 on the bahn. I am pretty sure my car will go 200MPH However I get a little scaaarred above as things get bluurred going that fast. However I like the Races and meets here in germany alot more eye candy and very freindly atmosphere.

Just because you have no sway bars anymore going that fast isn´t dangerous... j/k

Chris, trust me, if he didn't have sway bars, he wouldn't be able to keep the car at 100mph, much less 200 ... you should know, you have the same sh*tty stock sway bars that I had ...

At the Lausitzring he had removed them, as far as I remember!
But let´s ask Bruce!
The 98 and newer stock swaybars on the V6 were even smaller then the ones from 93 to 97, btw.

I know ... (both)
Bruce usually removed the sway bar at the track ... and most of the time put it back on before leaving ...

This is presumably in a straight line anyway. Even at 140 with a full suspension change, you wouldn't want to bet your life on the car's ability to remain stable in the event you had to adjust your trajectory.

Of course, but have you ever ridden in a 98+ V6 Camaro with stock sway bars (calling them "bars" is an overstatement - sway straw is more like it) at 140k or more? Even going straight, once you hit a bump on the road (I suspect anything larger than a grain of dust ... ) your rear end is anywhere except straight ... I dared to run my 'vert to the speed limiter (~200k) for no longer than maybe 10-20 seconds ... after putting BMR in front and back (plus PH), no problem anymore ... at least not upto 200 ... still got the stinking speed limiter in there ...

LOL yes I usually did it at the track. I have the 1LE sway bar which is slightly better I heard However 100MPH and no sway bar is bad news. Of course I would ensure it was in before I travel 2x that speed. Yes I am talking long straight road no curves I get nervous @140MPH in a curve.
BTW Those high end cars pass me in the curves and i pass them on the straight road so we know has more power LOL.

I've only had my SS up to about 145mph for a short time and it felt really solid. I have cruised quite a ways at 130 and it did fine. I loved the way it drove. Much better at 130 than the 65 GTO I had. With it, once you got past about 125, the steering wheel was pretty much ineffective. It was a kick in the ass though.
