one of the the best car movies in my opinion is Vanishing Point, the remake Vanishing Point '95 is even cooler 8)

If you are looking for a good chase scene, I recommend Bullitt with Steve McQueen. Dodge Charger and Mustang fastback. Good driving.

Shame on me, it´s Ford, but gone in 60 seconds would rate very high.

I also loved all the Herby movies (that little bug, remember)

I love "Two Lane Blacktop" with the '70 Pontiac GTO and the '55 Chevy. :)

I notice noone has mentioned Gumball Rally, or the Cannonball Movies.

Just trying to stir conversation mostly...

Any particular scenes anyone likes a lot??

For example: I love the Ferrari/Cobra back and forth stuff in Gumball Rally.

Also loved the Charger scene in Vanishing Point from 95. Does anyone know if thats available for sale anywhere??? Preferably DVD.

I just love the opening Countach scenes in the Cannonball Run films. The howl of the Lambo marks it out from an American V8. After that, it's pretty disappointing. But I still love it.

True to the Countach scenes!!! Loved it when they just sped away from the cops at the end...I know that it was sped up film for a more dramatic scene, but still looked cool.

I also loved the Camaro coming screaming out of the NYC Tunnels in Gumball.
