3gens are about the only generation that actually have a nice styling, but each to his own, everyone has his own taste...

With Executer and Iroc on this one.
Beauty is in the eyes of the beholder.
I can look at and compare different bodystyles daily.
2nd, 3rd, 4th, 2002 TA and my dodge fbody.
coupes, tt, verts,
some mine, some best friends
(those are not on the board - yet)
and I like the 3rds the best. (and the dodge)

My feelings are this:
Each of the gens has its own appeal. Honestly in 1983 I didnt like the new styling...thought it was butt ugly...but thats what I have ended up with. And when the 4th Gens came out...I really wasnt too fond of them...particularly the firebirds. But after watching them they really have grown on me. I would love to own either an LT1 or an LS1 just for the experience of owning one and knowing what the car is capable of.
Part of the reason I am on here is my own total love of all the cars regardless of generation. I think they are all great!!!

I like the thrid gen, 1992 to be exact. The fourth gen (93-97) I like better than the fourth gen and a 1/2(98-the end). I just don't like the head lights on the newer ones.

Honestly, I have to I love them all, although a 74 Camaro is not exactly one I would be looking to own. But it's still part of da family

Controversial, I know, but I think the original '67 and '68 Camaros were the blandest design ever. Only the '69, inspired by the 300SL Merc was an iconic design fit to rival the Mustang's styling.
The 2nd gen was stunning to begin with, the front this time being inspired by the Ferrari Berlinetta and the Jaguar XJ6. The addenda of plastic was minimal and the design was relatively pure until the late 70's legislation compromised the design with rubber bumpers - but still a good job next to the MGB plastic nose!
I think the 3rd gens were the best in terms of contemporary impact when they were launched. Remember all those blando Euro designs in the 80's - total styling disasters. The Camaro design was spot on and the '85 smooth-over improved it even more. It was just a shame about the engines.
The 4th gens may have been better in outright terms but were limited by being a derivative design from the 3rd gen during that "evolution not revolution" period of car design. However, I can't help but prefer the earlier nose to the LS1 nose. It looks more aggressive.
