What a great site! I thought my car was pretty decent until I saw all of yours! I can't wait to see them sometime this summer. My car is a dark green '96 SS (car# 975) with an auto. It actually helps out alot at the track. The new replacement rear has 3.42s. Exhaust is Flowmaster American Thunder, (Best mod so far), K&N filter, air foil, Hypertech programer with 160 thermo, Lakewood lca's with poly bushings and slotted rotors. Top end is about 160 on level ground. I can hit the rev limiter downhill. Tires at the track were BFG Drag Radials on 16's. Anyone here who also use to race at Pirmasens in '96 and '97? Best time in the 1/8th was a 9.02 @ 80mph - without the lca's and with 3.23 gears. Reaction times were pretty good, just couldn't get a good 60' time, never got under 2.

Welcome to the board! My husband is stationed at Gieb too...he's got a silver '95 V6 Camaro, but it's been down for over a year and I'm sure you've never seen it. I also have a '95, but mine is black and a Z also...I always have to rub that in! We got mine from the guy with the 2002 pewter TA. I've seen your car around post for awhile...what took you so long?!

Don't know why it took so long to join. Yeah, my car has the body modification by "guardrail". Some one tagged my wife in the rear on her way to work and spun her around into the rail. Bastard never stopped. Insurance totalled the car? Just did what I needed to to get it back on the road. It's parked winters and has been parked for about a year since I blew up the rear right after I got it back last spring. Only has 42,000 miles on it. I've also been working on my '57 Chevy P/U, the one that needs bodywork. My priorities are hauling ass first, looking good second. Can't have a car that looks fast but can't back it up.
