Hmm, sounds interesting. Overdrive would help once I get that 3.73 rearend in the car. Does anybody know what it would take to make it work in my car? My main concern is the shifter and the driveshaft.
Randy, how much did you punish that tranny? Honestly??
You still haven't told me where you got that six speed from, how much did that cost you (money and pain)?

The tranny is in good shape, I put in a B&M shift kit and drain plug. Plus I always ran a B&M super cooler with it. Ran good when I took it out a couple weeks ago!
I got the six speed from a wrecked 94 Z28. Im also gonna sell the LT1 with computer and wireing harness for 1500 bucks, so if your interested in that too, let me know so I can hold it for ya. Cause Im sure the engine wont last long before someone gets it.

I wouldent worry about your shifter. The thing is cable operated, you could put it practily anywhere. The driveshaft is another story.

I'm still very interested, I'd like to take a look at it.
Where do you do all the work? At the Gieb Craft shop? I want to check out your ride anyway, sound like one BAD RIDE!
Don't worry about holding the engine, I'm still happy with mine.

That's the best place for it anyway! A beater is not a beater without a bunch of car parts in it.
See ya on the 16th!

I think I'll go for it Randy. Even if I can't install it this year, I just can't pass on that overdrive. I really think it'll do me well once I put that 3.73 rear in it. When can we hook up so I can check it out? I'll be in Wuerzburg on Thursday, I could come see you at the shop in Gieb.
Just give me a time.

I was there from around 1700-1745. I guess you had to work late or something. I saw your car parked by the hangars. Your phone was off, too. I guess we'll have to try some other time.

I wish I knew if AAFES is going to let me go to the Balkans for six months, cause if they do, I'm shooting for a Richmond 6speed manual. IF they don't, I'll go for a 700 because I can't afford the six. I don't expect you to hold it until AAFES/I make up my mind, so if you can sell it, go ahead.
