Just wanted to get everyones opinion on the housing around K-town. I am single, so no need for more than two bedrooms, but I want a garage that will fit my beaSSt. I will get another car for a daily driver when I get there, and it can sit outside if nessasary. But the SS will have to be in a garage. It will be going in for paint over the winter, and I don't want it going south too fast.
So how hard is it to get a decent one-three bed house with big(one or two car) gargage. Single, SSgt-TSgt OHA, and perfer it to be out of the big town. I like quiet country living with occasional rowdy romps in town. Any advise would be great.
Thanks,
Maverick

Staff or Tech you won't have a problem finding a house but for the beast? You are gonna have to show some patience in that department. My garage is fairly large considering the size of the Toy but not much room for anything else. Length is what kills you over here. I can open the doors 1/2 on both sides but that's pushing it. They are out there though it just requires alot of research. Better yet get you a agent it costs but it's worth it and they'll find exactly what you want.

Thanks for the information. Can you recommend an agent around there?

Sure I'll get my agent that helped me and my coworker out. I'll post it later today.

Thanks. What is the usual charge? Email would be a better way to get with them.
Thanks again,
Maverick

I believe it's 1/2 mos rent. I know I know. But believe me it's worth it and you get what you want and she helps w/ setting up the oil, water, trash, and any other misc things that come up. I'll that info for you asap.

You can check the base paper for the Kaiserslautern area online, including their classifieds. The link is below. You can get an idea of the houses available for rent in the area. The site is updated weekly.

Thanks for the link. I have see that before, and use it for checking prices. Now I just want to make sure that something will be ready for me when I get there. An agent sounds like the thing for me.
