K-Town/Mannheim Area got hit pretty good yesterday ... still quite a bit down when I was there today ... nothing much up here, though ... 8th inch or so ...
Oh well, in a couple of weeks hopefully it'll be nice again ...

It started snowing here a little earlier. I understand that it rarely snows in this area of Belgium, but it was snowing!!!
I get excited because it is only about the 5th or 6th time I have EVER seen snow.
I grew up in Mississippi and lived in Georgia the last three and a half years....never snowed there either!!! Just saw a few bits of snow in Mississippi about every five or six years.
Ok, so laugh at me..I really dont care..I am going to enjoy this little bit of snow.

well, actually, snow has gotten pretty scarce over the last couple years ... didn't get any 2001/2002 till deep into December or beginning of January, and this winter didn't see any until Dec 31st ... at least here at my place ...

And when it did snow in Mississippi it would only be there 1-2cm deep and was gone by early afternoon. It would usually snow at night, because with the Sun shining down it would just go away very quickly or not stay at all.

I was watchingthe ski jumping championship in Garmisch . I thought there was a lot of snow there, that was until the camera panned out and evertything was green except for the jump slope.

This pic is made today ! In Friday there was sunshine and NO SNOW ! I did put summer tires on all my cars few weeks ago as weather has been nice and warm lately, even took out my Z from storage and hoped I can use it soon as daily driver. Now I'm fu*ked - there is half a meter of snow on some places and it keeps falling.
Word of advice from personal experience, Bridgestone Potenza S-03 is extremely poor winter tyre, have them on my Audi Quattro and it feels like driving with ET Streets on heavy rain.

Ott, I know what you mean. I tried that with my SO2s in 2001 and, needless to say, they weren't very effective.
Hope it melts soon.
