I took this when I went home for Christmas last year. This highway patrol officer was really cool. He let me do just about whatever I wanted (with the car), short of driving it.. :D It is a 2002 Z28. It even has the anniversary badging and everything..

I can't believe I am still being haunted by FHP!!! I have only had one ticket in my SS, it was a year ago about a mile outside of Cedar Key on a two lane road. He was in a row of three cars coming towards me. I noticed the daytime running lamps, and knew it was an F-body, then my radar detector went apeshiattt. I nailed the brakes but he still got a pretty good reading on me. He said I was going 77 in a 60, actually had I not hit the brakes, it would have been more like 87. He knocked it down to 74, still set me back $130. He said "yeah you gotta watch the speed in these things", I just smiled and said "thanks" :) . Thanks for the memory Jack 8)

since when are they using non-steel wheels on a police car? Though the B4C had steel wheels for better durability (like running up curbs, etc.)

Gary... I don't think they will be using one of those to run over curbs anytime soon... that's what their crappy fords are for!
