Glad to see you back Rob. I'd been wondering about you. How's OK? Any decent runs w/ the Cobra?

A couple good street run ins. But nothing steller. A GT with LT/O/R H pipe/cat back/CAI/Pullies is about a 5 car loser to me, and I get whomped on pretty good by LS1's. Some guy with a 94 vette wants to run me pretty bad (he is still smarting from the azz whupping the camaro gave him  and he thinks he can save some face this way...we'll see)

I went up and put it on a mustang dyno (highly recomend it over a dynojet, but you dont get bragging style numbers however). I got a mind bending 262hp 290tq  ...its a start I guess, and was within 2-4hp of the other '01's so it must be right.

Friday is slotted for some 1/4, if the weather holds, the half-shafts better beware:)

The Z is in limbo. Yesterday I planned out a stroker, Today I planned out a blower motor, Tomarrow who knows? I was thinking about doing it all myself to learn, but then I wanted to run it in some upcoming events. MAN I dont know what I want!!!!

Sounds like you are having fun and dilemas at the same time. Know how that is. I had mine on a dyno here at the Volkwagons dealership awhile back. Don't know the conversion for bhp but some said it's 1 for 1 till 700. All I know is w/ 350lbs extra sittin on my trunk it still spun off the rollers @ 5200rpm. So I never got it up to the desired rpm of 6500. Well it read 420 bhp @ 5600rpm the 2nd run and tq was like 389 and climbing and they said the tq reading is corrected. Sounded weird to me but at least I had some type of dyno run......don't know what it makes but it's fast.

WOW! I would guess your hp would average down to what your tq was on that run if what the say is true about tq being correct, but its probably 389 tq from 700rpm up!!! Man it must pull like a train.

As far as the dyno goes, if its repetable who cares if its correct, great tool to use.

John you and I know those #s are higher than that. If I get some wheels I will get my stang on the dyno. If I dont get the Camaro today I will order a G-Tech and then we will test your car again. I should have it at the races for you to try.
