Hey man I'm just checking to see if your buddy in Fayetville will make me a custom grind cam.. and if so do you know how much he may charge? Also do you know how much he charges for the install? Just curious.. hey by the way when are you supposed to get home? I got forwarded to Kuwait from England... but I should be home in Aug sometime. Well shoot me up when you get a chance....

What's up man? Now you are headed to Kuwait? Good lord, looks like they did you like they did me. Fortunatley my 180 orders are nill now and it looks like I will be home within a week or so. yeah I am sure Bob will hook you up. He gets his cams done by somebody so what ever they charge I am not sure. As far as install, good luck finding someone cheaper than him. He is awesome on prices as far as I am concerned. Shoot him an email and tell him your situation. DALTONR22@aol.com Tell him I sent you. He has my car right now, can't wait to get back. He is kind of slow on the email thing so don't be surprised if he doesn't get back to you right away. I get one, maybe two emails a week from him. Yup they are screwing me good.. infact I had my tickets in my hand to go home when they called me in and told me I wasn't..... so nice of them. Infact I'm on my way to Bagdad for a mini forward deployment swometime this month.. is it possible to be forwarded 3 friken times!!!! I go cross eyed when I think about it! Glad to hear you'll be home soon.. I should be somtime in the future. I wrote that guy and will wait for him to send me somthing back. But I'll have to admit I think I may have to challange you for loudest F-Body in NC.... SLP Loudmouth Exhaust.. BBK headders, (I might cut out one cat) and possibly the new cam! No problem. I got FLP longtubes w/straight pipes into '3 borla with the second largest opening to by pass the muffler We will have to see! I volunteered to go to Iraq but it was a no go for me. Oh well, better off safe at home. Later, Mike

for what its worth, I had COMP grind me a cam and it was the same price as the off the rack ones

I agree! I think the install is what he really is looking for a break on. Cams are not that expensive anyway. IMHO. Mike

Come on Jr. you are a mechanic. You aught to think about doing it yourself. It's not that hard, just remember to take out the radiator first.

I know I could do it Hotrod.. it's more of a time issue.. I'll have no time to do it with everything else I'll have going on and all.. it seems like I never really have enough time to do really anything on the car anymore....

I know how it feels. I always have other things to do plus the wife has things for me to do also, so it never ends. Just a suggestion on the cam swap.
