I write with great sadness to say I wrote the Zee off yesterday.
We are all OK, but my pride is dented.
Lynne and I are very upset to loose our car.
Lets hope the insurance looks after us.

Damn. Am I starting the curse again? I thought I gave that ghost up. Hope the insurance does their job. At least your are ok even though that doesn't make things better.

Thanks for your comments guys.
To explain simply what happened - I was driving on a road I know quite well. It was wet and I had been travelling at reasonable speed, but as I approached a bend I eased up to approx. 40, no prblem for the bend. But as I went round I drifted big style. I ended up a soil bank on the side of the road, by this time I had stop moving, only to roll off the bank onto the roof.
Sh!t, (sorry I swore) even with the car on the recovery truck completely wrecked, it still looked stunning.
As I said we are lucky, we are perectly OK - very upset.
Daniel my 6 year old was also with us. Luckily it hasn't bothered him. He jumped out (after I undid his seat belt) and was fine. Later he cried, but in those tears he said he wanted his Camaro back.
I will keep you informed with what happened.
At least I have experience of modding one Camaro, next please. IN the mean time, you please give me some more ideas what else I can be doing!!!!

will you be able to recover some of the mod parts? Probably easier than shipping from the states ...

One of the guys I was with has some piuctures of it upside down. I'll try and post them in the near future.
I have been asking about recovering the parts, 2 things: 1) are they damaged? and 2) the insurance assessor will start and kncok down the money I get!!!!!
I'm still working on getting the most so I'll keep you posted.

I was recently up there in central England, Manchester and north of Manchester, Swindon/ Salisbury, Stratford on Avon, London and some other places.
Go with what will make you most happy and satidfied in the long run, whatever it is.

Jagsy, you are lucky you did not drive a Camaro Convertable.
I alwasy hated the roll over protection bars on convertables and always thought that the chance of a roll over is very little.
But as you see.....
German automobile club ADAC has just tested convertables in a roll over crash test: In a Mazda MX5 without any protection bar one has only little chance to survive.

Yes, I would question myself before I bought a soft top - it would definately have to have a roll cage fitted.
