Sounds like alot of people are selling there toys well If I had it to do over again. I would because I am having fun however I should have waited 1 more year before the big build up. There is all kinds of stuff for LS1/6 now. Two years ago I paid more for everything IE LS6 stage II heads were $3400 with core charge and now you can get CNC LS6 for 1/2 that.

Granted it cost allot of money but I have seen people look at Johns car and were really impressed. I see 100's of f bodies and only a couple really stick out. Then going to meets/races is allot of fun.

I am driving my car a bit easier now to prevent costly repairs which I have experienced.

smartest move was when I got hooptie and drive the Hawk at my liking.

Know what you mean Bruce. I can redo that entire car for 1/2 the price and probably be faster as well. That just goes to technology. You definetly don't see alot of fbodies here it's not the norm. But at least the guys take care of them.

If you can't drive it like you want, though, without fear of breaking something, it's just not worth it to me.. Sure, I could drive it like a granny, but where is the fun in that? I'd rather just be saving the money I spend on fixing it all the time..

Jack I drove my car like a NASCAR last year not saying it could not take the abuse but the JWIS C5R timing chain broke nobody ever broke one of those? after the timing chain broke it went down hill from there. I have more fun driving the car than waiting on parts spending money I dont really have. I will drive hard sometimes but I have more fun sneaking around talking smack and carrying a big stick if someone call BS.
