Just so everyone knows Bitburg will be hosting it's annual FESTIVLE OF SPEED August 12th from 1000 - 1500 or 1700 (don't remember exactly). It's an all out heads up open racing. There's 4 events... 1/4 mi drag, 3K race course, Slolam course, and one other (it's written in German and I still haven't decifered it yet). It only costs 60 DM and that includes a free meal, tech inspection and access to all events... and also race #'s. If you're interested let me know and I'll give you more info as I find it out!

I am in if my car is back. I was told no later than the 10th of August. So that will be a good place to break it in....LOL I said break....

Me too.. If I had about 7,000$ I would have ordered the parts myself and just been reimbursed. I am waiting on the insurance company to send a check to the shop. Then we can order parts. Once the parts are here it will take 1 day to do the parts. 1 day for alignment and a week for paint.

No "He said POOP", I might be back in the 230th MP CO in a couple months!!  I was already there for 6 years, and want to give customs a try!! Where are you stationed again, and how is that unit??? Field, right!!

1 MP HQ wurzburg 1&4th GS Wurzburg 2nd schweinfurt DS 2nd Brigade 3rd DS 3rd Brigade Vilseck 5th GS Ansbach. Yes we are a field MP unit but we have fun, we never go to the field as a company unless you count gunnery as field. If you need a job let me know Customs is bad news give me a call 476-3022 This is the best unit I have ever been in I have been in this Plt for 6 1/2 years.

Is this only one day? It is always fun to beat up on some vettes ,maybe some mustangs, But then again I could get beat up. Oh well I will take my chances can't wait

living it up is good and should be done every once and a while. Being around soldiers is where you learn to deal with things, Whant a job? Do not get me wrong customs is OK for a break IE getten education but you should not reenlist to stay there. did you know SSG Mcneil?

Yeah it's only one day and last year I beat up on a few vette's but there was alot of competition there (vipers, 427 cobras) some people I know with their gay lil' imports will be there and a few stangs. Anyone who lives in the Bitburg area (Dave) give me a call at work 452-6506 or leave me a message here so I can get ahold of you because I know the people there that will be doing the tech inspection and we can get in a little earlier (maybee a day or 2 ) and beat the bigcrowd that's there in the morning. That goes for anyone else who's coming and dosen't mind making an extra trip. Last year I waited about 2 hours to get the car inspected and this year it's supposed to be even BIGGER!
