Just watching the movie "Hard Cash" ... not the best thing I've ever seen, but a pretty big number of F-Bodies in it ...
- main character drives a third gen Camaro
- another character might be driving a first gen (not sure, though, only a short shot from the front)
- during a car chase, two 'vettes, a third gen Firebird with screeming chicken on the hood, plus another third gen Firebird (both 'birds get damaged, apart from the main character's Camaro)
- another road shot, blue 3rd gen camaro seen through the rear window
- dito, red 4th gen firebird
Guess about half of all F-Body appearances of '03 must have been in that movie

Speaking of crashing, what is up with Fear Factor? They always use Camaros for their stunt cars

Yeah, that's DJ Tomekk "Ganxtaville", I think.
Cool that they took some Camaros and not Mercedes or Porsche etc. like they do in the American rap videos.

Simple, they need something that can take a beating without falling apart the first time. Besides, on some of the stunts, they need something with enough torque to spin the tires so that they DON'T hook up, therefore slowing them down while giving the impression to the audience that the car is going much faster than it really is.
At least that's what I want to believe.
I still get upset when they wreck good cars though. If they need to wreck a car, I can trade them my VW for their F-body...

Saw 2 Fast 2 Furious last night. Actually better than I thought as the Yank cars look phenomenal next to those tinny little Japanese things which, despite the producer's best efforts, look a little effete and snoringly BORING. Faced off against a Mustang, Corvette, Viper, Challenger and Yenko Camaro, it was more than a little far-fetched (I mean, I never saw a 60's muscle car that handled for a start) but apart from when they wrecked them (wait, Motor Trend tested the Yenko so that must have been a dummy) they looked totally stunning and it made the film so much better as the Japanese cars just looked like also-rans.

We've just been to Disney Paris, and there on the Studio Tour is a Z28 convert.
It brought back too many memories.
Nice car...
