Who all is coming to K-Town in August to Cars are the Stars? Date is August 1-3 ... (anybody know when it opens on Friday?)
Anyway, how about combining it with some F-Body meeting action?

The event will be held in Tokol at the airport (just south of Budapest). You can check out http://www.powerfest.com for more info.

I have some additional information on Cars are the Stars. I have the files for information and for the entry form. I can't figure out how to attach them to this post so if anyone wants them please post your email address here and I will email them. The registration starts at 2:00 pm on Friday. All judging will be on Saturday. Entry fee for both days is $25 or 21 Euros. That includes entry, a T-shirt, a coin, and breakfast both days. The show will be open to the public for spectators again this year, unlike last year. Entry fee is $5 for ages 12 and over if I remember correctly. I will try to post some information for lodging tomorrow or Monday. The show is limited to the first 250 cars due to available space, so if you plan to come, you need to register early. You can register by mail. There will be at least $1700.00 in trophies and prizes. If you have additional questions, you can email me at kc10a@t-online.de.

Gary, RTZSS, and HansK, you have email. If anyone else wants the info, post an email for me or send me an email and I will send it. They are only allowing 250 cars so it might be advisable to register in advance if you know you are coming.

RTZSS, it might be sorta cool to have two 35th LEs there.

RTZSS, forget the shopping. The wive's can go shopping. They can almost walk to the Vogelweh BX from the car show. Where are your priorities, man. Cars or shopping.

:D You got a point! She still insists Sunday is her day  We will have to see. I feel for her, the PX here in Stuttgart is, well, the ascending colon of all AAFES facilities!

If you are planning on coming to Cars are the Stars, please either post on here or email me at kc10a@t-online.de and let me know. We plan to go over on Friday afternoon and try to stake out a place for us. I need to know how much room to stake off. Come on down. The more the merrier.

Apart from CatS, and for those who can't or don't want to go there Saturday, are we heading out for a cruise or something Sunday morning/noon? Could go out for a couple hours, have lunch, and cruise, and be back by 1600 or so for the trophies ...

Where is the CatS going to be at anyway this time? Same place on base as last year?

I may come by as a spectator on my way out of town...
I am mentally prepared to drive a few thousand kilometers to someplace, but since the powerfest got cancelled... :?
If I knew that one earlier I would have went to Sweden past weekend.
Hm... maybe I'll visit a friend in Istanbul. The turkish beaches are nice.
