Hi guys

Here it is Holden HSV GTS with the fantastic 99 LS1 without all the smog restricting equipment.

That is a nice color. But what is that right behind the passenger door? Is that another door? What is that for? Seriously though, sweet looking car. How does it handle? Is it a right hand drive, they drive on the left in Australia right?

That thing behind the front door is for my little boy - he is not getting any smaller and it fits our needs perfectly.

This baby is rare in the UK, there are only 174 of that model over here. As I said its got a 99 LS1 with and us rated at 343HP and 370 lb ft torque. Its got the Borg Warner T56 manual and a 3.73 rear diff.

And its got a 57mm true dual exhaust system with cross over's in a few places - she sounds lovely but not qiute loud enough!!!

Its not any faster than the Z28, but it feels faster - and that gear box is gorgeous.

Front brakes are 343 x 32mm 4 pot callipers, rear are 315 x 32mm 4 pot collipers - 18" rims all round

It has IRS and yes she does handle. BUT its a heavy car 1,700kg.

This baby will wipe the floor with an M3 and when I've done the mods will clear off an M5. If I do the RAM AIR option, MAF, headers and exhaust it should pudh me over the 410HP yeeeeee har.

You want more pics - sorry for the quality

:D Hey! Glad you like the LS1! I work at the GM Powertrain Plant in St. Catharines, Ontario Canada. We make the HOlden engines as well as all the engines for the Corvette. It feels good to have a happy customer. Take Care, Tom

hi Richard, I tried e-mailing your reply but I kept getting delivery failures. Anyhow, I will send you the list of differences once i have gathered all the info. I am sure the lack of pollution equipment also contributes to the HP difference. Tom
