I went and did it today. Only the 2nd new car I have ever bought since the Z28!!! Here is the low down skinny. 6spd, independant suspension, every option (European package does that :) ). I really cant wait to give this auto x thing a try, and with a bone stock car, maybe I can sneak into some classe that will have me competing with bone stock civics or the like.

It's actually not that bad, but those wheels are hideous. I'm sure it is handles like a dream... Enjoy it! I bought my wife a VR6 GTI and man, that 2.8L V6 is badass....

Damn those are some nice seats! That's sweet. The RS is what I'd like to get but there isn't a US spec version being offered.

*LAUGH* yeah, I dont care for the wheels either, but I had to get them if I wanted the recaros. I'm pretty sure someone will trade me for the other style they have. They look just like the 2001 Cobra wheels.

As far as handling, I dunno. I know I can take the corners faster. I believe it runs the standard salom in 67.8mph and will brake 60-0 in 116ft so on paper yeah it should perform.

It has fullfilled its mission, it makes the guy paying the payments happy, so everything is all good.

BTW John it aint no RS, but this is a Cosworth/SVT partnership so that should be a plus.

Rob
