For 93 - 97 Camaro:

Automatic transmission (working and preferrably rebuilt) from Z28 / TransAM

Dashboard

Stock exhaust or MILD performance part (NOT FLOWMASTER)
--> I have a Flowmaster as a trade in

A4 shifter console

Passenger side motor for window (this is a must fail part, huh?)

Floor mats (original light grey or aftermarket embossed etc)

Ground effects

White overlays for gauges (blue or flame design ok also)

Driver seat power and passenger seat non power, original light grey or aftermarket.

Shocks, struts, springs --> the lower and harder the better!
Or as a helper: Stock parts for part time rebuild.

STB, SFC, LCA, pU bushings you name it suspension stuff.

Hood, SS or similar aftermarket with scoop.

17" rims, OEM or SS or TA

German Z28 ( 98up) or Firebird (93-97) rear bumper WITH fog lights.

For those curious: Yes, i have 8 cylinders again.

Just have to rebuild it.

OFFER WHATEVER YOUR GARAGE HAS !!!

I take it your wanting to buy.

This is my inventory right now:

1) Harwood Ram Air/ Cowl Induction Hood. Lift- Off Style. PN: 487-B12202 (Jegs)

2) Stock Steering Wheel w/Airbag

3) Air Duct System

4) Stock Tail pipe ends

5) TCI Shifter w/reverse pattern and reverse lock out

6) Various sizes of steel braided hose

7) All sorts of toggle and push button switches

I'll have to check the garage again to see what else I got. I just dropped my exhaust a couple of hours ago. I read your other post that said the tuv didn't like Flowmaster. I would give it to you, but it has 2 or 3 holes in it.

I'll take $250 for it. Remind you, its the lift off style, not a bolt on. But I do have the brackets and fasteners.

@Jack: Do the parts fit on an "old" 4th gen? It´s a 95
@Garry: Sure, i just have to make some

@EVERYBODY: The tranny is the most important part, it´s a 95 A4 Z28 and i´m missing 2nd gear and overdrive at the moment, so a complete tranny would help. I have two broken ones i could give away, one is squiting ATF out of the top, the 2nd one misses those two gears. Or can anybody make one whole out of those two?

Are you willing to rebuild the one you got? You could get a kit and do it yourself. It just takes time and patience and a few special tools. (along with a CLEAN and large work bench) If you have a bad tranny, you could take it apart and see how much work it'll be. Make sure that the "hard" parts are still good. (gears, shafts, etc.)
I think that I "know" the car that you got. Did you get the old (broke)tranny that was in the car? If not, I should still have access to it. I'll have to ask the previous owner if he got it or not. Let me know if you want it.
Congrats on having V-8 power again!

Me and Rob were talking about that car. I don't have my cheats here with me but I think I found the problem. Is it possiable for you to scan the computer? I've got all the scan codes for obd-1 &2. I'll run on post in a little bit and give you the info I came up with.

Ok here's what I gathered from RT1, and correct me if I'm wrong, you do not have 2nd gear.
Here's a couple things a found:

OBD-1 transmission codes:

DCT Descripition Code Parameters Default Action

28 Trans. Range Pressure PCM detects one of *No TCC
Switch Circuit error Two "invalid" combo's *Harsh Shifts
of PSM signals for *No 4th gear in
5 seconds hot mode
*No 2nd gear
in D2

82 1-2 Shift solenoid 1-2 shift solenoid *Max line
Circuit fault is commanded Pressure
only by PCM but *2nd or 3rd
circuit voltage is gear only
high for 2 seconds OR
OR *1st & 4th
1-2 shift solenoid gears only
is commanded OFF
by PCM but circuit
voltage is low for 2
seconds

Dino, the lower control arms and panhard rod WILL fit, but I'm not sure about the gfx. I think the sides and rear will, but not the front.. The front would not be worth putting on anyway.. Let me know if you're interested. I'll take $150 for the suspension stuff, or $300 for all. :)

Hmm....

Say $ 250 and deal?

I´ll have to fabricate something for the front. Maybe handlaid fiberglass with license plate recession built in?

Are the LCAs and panhard the stock parts or something better?

You might get some good info here.
also: Air Freight after $110.00 discount on performance / heavy duty transmission and torque converter. Germany to large Airport - $65.00 to $240.00
Better than a "stock" rebuild for the same price.
