Well, if Dieter gets the Oliver Racing Billet Connecting Rods that I ordered either Monday or Tuesday, hopefully the ole' Z will be running by Friday.. He showed me the rods and they're pretty much FUBAR... The bearings were shot, so I'm upgrading- FUK IT!! ;)

Thanks everyone. I am excited... I am seriously going to have to stay away from the autobahn, though...

The pistons are Ross forged pistons. The rods are some of the best money can buy, so hopefully I will never have to replace them. The OLIVER I-beam connecting rod features an exclusive "Parabolic Beam" design that reduces beam stress and "delivers the highest strength-to-weight ratio of any connecting rod currently available."

All rods are precision machined using only premium mill certified aircraft quality E4340 chrome moly alloy billets, heat treated to produce a 100% martensite grain structure. Continual inspection, statistical process control, batch sampling and fatigue cycle testing assure the delivery of the finest product obtainable. Batch matched individual, replacement rods are in stock.

I initially meant today, but now I mean next Friday. If I say next, I don't mean the next day... :)

He's still waiting on the rods.

Well, I just got back from there, and after showing me what all they had to do to fix my screwing around, they told me she'd be ready Friday...
