BTW: 4 - 6 of June is the Dragrace in Vandel, Denmark.
April won't be very hot on the Beach.
Also means I got to take the Nissan, pony and lambs won't fit in Camaro.
...and how about visiting the Mercedes place for a overnight stay?

Good idea ... Wonder how they'd look when they came in the morning to find a dozen F-Bodies in their parking lot ...

April may still be kinda early yet for me, I'm rubbing the crystal balls and I can't see that far yet. It looks like May is when we return . So have a good one If I can't make it.

We're interested in having a trip over to meet up with you during next year and maybe a few more will come with us when dates are fixed. Any drag meets planned?
We both compete in the uk Street Racer series http://www.ukstreetracers.co.uk so it would be cool if if didn't clash with those dates. If we can get a couple of your fellow countryment to tag along too we'll bring them with us.
I have a 99 Z28, Chris has a 93 Z28. We'll be videoing the trip out, a bit like Getaway in Stockholm - only to Germany instead

Last spring during the ride up to Vandel for Dennis' Drag racing, apart from the Mercedes parking lot, we stayed at a farm house and they had lots of sheep and little lambs, which Kamilla really liked ...

Maybe you should just put a trailer hook on one of the F-Bodies ... I doubt a pony will fit INTO your Nissan

I transported a grown goat in the Corolla.
About same size than those Shetland Pony.
Should have seen the impression on the faces of the people passing, as they have recognized the goat in the car.
(BTW: used some plastic plane underneath the goat just in case, but
it was well trained)

OK then, I'd like to ask all the folks interested in thinking about possible dates as well as destinations. I recon it would be helpful if we could pick a date by around middle of January or so, leaving enough time to find and reserve places for the overnight stays. Also, I recon many people have to put for leave early enough to ensure to a certain degree that they will actually be able to participate ...
I recon I will also post over at the Bandit Online board (if there are no objections) as they too have a pretty good number of active members, and might be interested in joining us... (can you imagine a nice double dozen of F-Bodies in a convoy? Would be possible, already 11 people are interested on this board according to the poll!)
It could look something like this:

After reading this thread for several days, I decided I would throw a few thoughts out. Don't know if they are worth anything or not but here goes.
1. Three things need to be decided. How about a poll on each of them to help make a decision.
a. When? I personally prefer no earlier than Memorial Day weekend which is the last Monday in May.
b. Where? I always enjoy the beach. A car show or drag race would also be cool.
c. How long? I personally think 3 days would be a minimum and 7 would be a maximum but that is just my opinion.
d. How big? Do we want to make it FBE only, invite Bandit Online, or send a letter to some of the American car magazines such as Chrom & Flammen and Street Machine and invite any American car who wants to participate? We could also let folks know in some of the of the other countries. How about sending emails/leaflets to some of the other clubs.
If we want something small, just a FBE cruise will meet those needs. If we want to go big, that is also possible. For a big one, the Hot Rod Power Tour or Car Craft Americruise could be good models. Done right, this could be something really cool and a lot of fun. How about starting out with a poll on how big.
