Thanks for killing me Garry... here again:
I had to paint the kitchen wall after the mouse-execution;
conversation record of typical conversation between kid and anybody unknown
"We got mouse blood scattered all over the kitchen wall."
"What???"
"Mama threw the big knife and sliced the mouse in half."
"WHAT????"
"Yes, if it didn't break the dishwasher it would still be alive."

Hm ... anybody else coming who'll act as a tie-breaker?
Also, it would be helpful if all people planning on coming would post with how many people you are coming, and what dishes you will bring ... will help either Jason or me to do whatever has to be prepared ...

Well, with the large number of people interested, I guess we can call off the Xmas meeting ... not much sense in holding a "pot luck" with three or four people ...
Well, let me know if/when/where anybody wants to do anything for xmas ... or later ...

That's the problem with this club, Garry. Everyone talks the talk, but when it comes time to walk the walk, they opt out for whatever reason.. I agree, though, that it would be pointless to do it with only a few people.. Sorry!

on my part it does not matter if long or short notice... sometimes my schedule changes two or three times in between a few hour notice - either way from boring to 3 jobs a time or from busy like hell to nothing.
that is what you call flexible schedule
most time it is the easiest for me to not plan anything and just see what is coming up.

It would be nice if we could plan everything 6 months in advance, but even then, I don't think most people would show.. There's just not as much dedication as there used to be.
