Can anyone help me out? I remember seeing a Rustang II sitting in a strip yard some time ago. (Ramstein/ Baumholder?) If it's still there, can someone tell me if the front clip/suspension portion is still there and how much it'll cost? I only need the suspension/steering stuff and possibly the cross-member. I'll bring a sawzall to cut the clip out (crossmember portion with susp.) if need be.
Thanx.
edit: not worried about the rotors and calipers as these will be upgraded.

Forgot to mention that a Pinto/Bobcat should have the same suspension and that should also work. If one is seen (yeah, right... ), let me know.
Thanx

I've been to the Ramstein yard about 100 times within the last 2 years, and I've never seen a mustang in there. Must have been Baumholder. :)

Ok, that may have been a slight exaggeration, but I have been there a lot. Looking for Beetle parts. They have one up there I'm just waiting for them to put it in the salvage area.. Right now it's for sale, but the front axle is fubar.

Why didn't you say something here? There are a couple in Giebelstadt. I think that one was to be up for bids but the other was out in the yard. This was a couple of weeks ago though...

Someone has got to have been to a strip yard recently. :?
I do remember seeing a Mustang II because I even thought to myself that I should get some stuff off of it. I didn't because I wanted brand new. Now that I have another mouth to feed, my priorities have changed. Now I need to go the budget way for now. :( I need to upgrade because one of my spindles got jacked up and instead of wasting money on another spindle that may be messed up, I'm just upgrading to something safer and more reliable. Besides, it'll ride a lot better.
